Once in a lifetime adventure! - This was an amazing tour, and our guide, Bogdan, was the very best! He went out of his way to provide snacks, drinks, stopped for getting us fresh fruit at a local roadside stand, and even made a few extra stops along the way to show us some amazing landmarks rich in Romanian history. Our drive along the Transfagarasan Hwy was everything we expected and more! The drive was beautiful and we saw more than 15 wild brown bears, including mothers with cubs and large male bears. The views from the top of the Highway were spectacular, and we were fortunate to have snow-covered Carpathian views, yet clear roads. Would definitely recommend this tour and excellent tour guide, Bogdan!

Winter landscapes - We had an incredible journey to the top of the mountain. We don't expect to see so much snow and ice. I guess we didn't realize we were going to climb to 2000 feet altitude in December :) It was great.
