- Poienari Castle - Poenari Castle is a ruined castle in Romania which was a home of Vlad the Impaler. The citadel is situated high atop a mountain and accessed by climbing 1,480 concrete stairs.
- Vidraru Dam - Vidraru Dam it was completed in 1966 on the Argeș River and creates Lake Vidraru. The arch dam was built with the primary purpose to produce hydroelectricity. The dam’s height is 166 metres, the arch length 305 meters and it can store 465 million cubic metres of water. The reservoir has a total shoreline (perimeter) length of 28 km.

Transfagarasan Highway - The Transfăgărășan is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It has national-road ranking and is the second-highest paved road in the country.
The road climbs to an altitude of 2,042 metres (6,699 ft). It is a winding road, dotted with steep hairpin turns, long S-curves, and sharp descents. It is both an attraction and a challenge for hikers, cyclists, drivers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Due to the topography, the average speed is around 40 km/h (25 mph). The road also provides access to Bâlea Lake and Bâlea Waterfall. - Capra Wasserfall - spectacular waterfall, located on the Transfăgărășan trail, is Capra waterfall. It is located in the southern part of Făgăraș mountain, coming from Argeș county, at an altitude of 1690 meters and a water fall of over 40 meters. Because of the high flow rate of the water, this waterfall almost never freezes.
- Le Lac Balea - Bâlea Lake is a glacier lake situated at 2,034 m of altitude in the Făgăraș Mountains, in central Romania, in Sibiu County. There are two chalets opened all the year round, a meteorological station and a mountain rescue (Salvamont) station. It is accessible by car on the Transfăgărășan road during the summer, and the rest of the year by a cable car from the Bâlea.

Once in a lifetime adventure! - This was an amazing tour, and our guide, Bogdan, was the very best! He went out of his way to provide snacks, drinks, stopped for getting us fresh fruit at a local roadside stand, and even made a few extra stops along the way to show us some amazing landmarks rich in Romanian history. Our drive along the Transfagarasan Hwy was everything we expected and more! The drive was beautiful and we saw more than 15 wild brown bears, including mothers with cubs and large male bears. The views from the top of the Highway were spectacular, and we were fortunate to have snow-covered Carpathian views, yet clear roads. Would definitely recommend this tour and excellent tour guide, Bogdan!

Was amazing - Views were amazing and our tour guide Lonela was amazing! Would definitely recommend for all ages. Only bad part is the amount of time spent traveling but the tour guide and the people made it better. Saw lots of bears and wonderful views.

Unforgettable tour with a remarkable guide - I recently embarked on a tour of Romania's Transfagarasan road, known as "the most beautiful road in the world," and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Great tour! - Highly recommend this tour, we had a brilliant time and we got to see many wild bears and beautiful scenery and learnt a lot of history. Our tour guide Octavian was very informative and pleasant, he made sure we were safe and comfortable and enjoyed our trip.

Unforgettable mountain experience - One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Scenic views, a waterfall, wild animals (I saw a bear!!!), pleasant driving on the Transfagarasan serpentine, and nice guidance from our tour guide, Sebastian. Thank you for taking took to the top of the mountain, it was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!

Winter landscapes - We had an incredible journey to the top of the mountain. We don't expect to see so much snow and ice. I guess we didn't realize we were going to climb to 2000 feet altitude in December :)
