Fun time even in poorer weather! - The tour was in pretty bad rain/wind for 60% of the time, yet our guide kept a positive attitude along with our small group and it was still fun and very informative!

Off the beaten path, great guide, lots of walking - We were looking for something different to do in the Tokyo area and found it. We had a fun and informative time with Wakana as our guide through Yanaka. Navigating the Japan Rail system to Nippori took a bit of effort for a Tokyo newbie but it was worth the effort for this very small group tour. The first temple had a nice buddha statue. Lots of info provided about Shinto burial customs. Moved on to a former liquor store now turned museum. Enjoyed seeing the well-preserved traditional housing. The highlight of the tour was the stop at the Nezu shrine, with the azaleas in bloom. Took lots of pictures there.
