Amazing adventure - Fantastic trip! Beautiful beach, it was fun swimming in a pool around a waterfall, and we love the ocean trench swim!

Amazing Upolu Swimming Experience! - This is such a great excursion and we enjoyed four different fresh and salt water swims all in one day! We loved swimming at Togitogiga Waterfall and watched our thrill-seeker guide leap off the waterfalls. Our swim at Lalomanu Beach had a “come and unwind in paradise” written all over it! On the spectacular coastline at Lotofaga Village is Sua Ocean Trench. Sua simply means “big hole” in Samoan, and that is exactly what it is. The 30-metre swimming hole surrounded by hanging vegetation sits in the middle of a lava field. Swimming access via a steep but sturdy wooden ladder was worth the “courage” to do the climb! Piula Cave Pool is a blue-green, fish-filled freshwater grotto, fed by an underground spring. It was pretty cool when a sudden torrential rainfall happened, and we swam deeper into the dark cave to take cover!

Great day in Samoa - Wonderful day in Samoa! Arthur was our driver and he did a great job! We were able to see so much of the island in 1 day.

Just What I was Looking for! - A great introduction to Samoa; a nice variety of “water” features. The Trenches being the highlight. Plenty of time at each stop, I never felt rushed. Easy meeting point right outside the port property.

LOVED IT - This tour was absolutely phenomenal. With great planning (and a bit of goodluck) we had all of the attractions to our selves. Our guide was very friendly and the island is beautiful. Highly recommend!! You can follow me in Instagram for more photos @mariahveronika

Waterfalls and trenches of Samoa - Wonderful way to see the highlights of Upulo. Super easy and fun day out. Lunch was terrific also. The To Sua Trench is a must do in Samoa.

Great trip to see the highlights of Upolu - We chose this excursion to look at various sights around Samoa. We were not disappointed. Artur was an excellent guide although his estimations of how long we were going to be at some of our stops was a bit wishy-washy and so we weren't quite sure just how long we were going to be at the Ocean Trench or beach. He gave us a great perspective of what it was like to live in Samoa as well as everything that we were seeing. Lunch was excellent and my dietary needs were catered for very well (I am both gluten and lactose intolerant so this can be difficult sometimes). We only had 7 in our group and this was a very comfortable tour. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about booking a tour with Samoan Highland Adventures to do so.

Beautiful scenery with no explanation - The good - We saw many beautiful places on the island and having a picnic lunch at one of our beautiful stops was a treat. The driver was very safe. The bad - The driver and guide talked in their native language the entire time (6 hrs). If we asked a question, we would be given a one or two sentence answer, then they were back to their conversation. We learned ZERO about the island, scenery, people etc. We certainly didn't feel like they had an interest in their paying customers.
