- Hirosaki Castle - Hirosaki Castle, the northernmost existing castle tower in Japan, is recognized as a National Important Cultural Property. Beyond the castle tower, the park’s gates, bridges, and moat exude a rich historical ambiance.
- Hirosaki Park - Hirosaki Castle is situated within Hirosaki Park. The castle tower, turrets, gates, and other remnants from the feudal era remain as historical landmarks. There are few instances in Japan where a castle has been opened to the public as a park while preserving its original form. It is also renowned as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.
- Sannai-Maruyama Site - This site is a significant settlement from the early to middle Jomon Period (approximately 3,900-2,200 BC, around 5,900-4,200 years ago), featuring numerous pit and dugout pillar building sites, fillings, and graves of both adults and children, along with a vast collection of earthenware, stone tools, valuable wood products, and bone and horn artifacts that have been unearthed.
In May 2003, 1,958 of the excavated artifacts were designated as National Important Cultural Properties of Japan, and in July 2021, the “Jomon Monuments of Hokkaido and the Northeast,” including the Sannai-Maruyama Site, were registered as a World Cultural Heritage site.
This site is known for offering visitors a chance to experience the “mura (village)” of the Jomon period.
- Nebuta Museum WA RASSE - This facility showcases the history and allure of the Nebuta Festival, one of the three major festivals in the Tohoku region, recognized as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. It allows visitors to experience all facets of the Nebuta throughout the year. The museum features a permanent exhibition of large Nebuta floats that have been displayed, enabling visitors to immerse themselves in the full atmosphere of the Nebuta Festival while enjoying the sounds of shamisen and flute, essential to Japanese festivals.
- Aomori Cruise Terminal - The tour concludes with a return to the Aomori port.
