Discover the deep-rooted history of Antwerp in the city’s antique heart! Our passionate guide will give you a grand tour of the city’s historical core. You’ll journey through the old town, stopping at attractions like Grote Markt, Vleeshuis, and the charming Vlaeykensgang. The tour covers stunning spots around Meir, concluding impressively at the Central Station.
We conduct this tour with a Dutch-speaking guide every Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm. Tours with English and German-speaking guides are only available on Saturdays.

Recommended! Fantastic tour with enthusiastic guide! - We had a fantastic tour of Antwerp. Our guide Luc was an enthusiastic storyteller and knew a lot about history. Very interesting and fun to listen to. The group was not large (8 people), so there was plenty of room for all kinds of questions for the guide.

The 2 hours passed in no time - Had a very nice walk with a super enthusiastic guide Sylvie. She showed you things you would never find on your own. She knew how to tell it in such a way that it remained interesting from beginning to end.

Highlights around the cathedral, each with a short explanation. - 2-hour walk, past highlights: cathedral, statue of Nello and Patrache, Grote Markt, town hall and Brabo statue, Het Steen, the city wall, the Butcher's House and the district in between, the Vlaeykensgang, the Vrijdagmarkt and Plantin Moretus Museum, Rubens statue. Guide was young and charismatic and spoke clearly. We are from Antwerp ourselves and expected more detailed explanations for each topic, but given the number of stops, time was limited each time, so all in all, well done.
