Anton Valley day hike - David was our guide and he was fantastic. The hike in Anton Valley was strenuous (no doubt about it). The view was definitely worth the climb. We were lucky to have a clear day. The second part of the tour was a visit to an artisan market (was ok) and a visit to the zoo (which was not worth our time coming from Washington DC and visiting the National Zoo there). The drive to Anton Valley is long but David was a great driver. The ride back was rainy but he handled it beautifully. If you like hiking it is a tour for you. Enjoy three waterfalls along the hike.

Perfect Anton Valley Day Tour with an Incredible Guide - Our day tour to El Valle de Antón with Tao Travel 365 was absolutely fantastic, and our guide Daniel made the experience even better. From the moment we met him, he was friendly, professional, and full of energy. You could tell right away that he genuinely loves what he does. El Valle itself is beautiful, so green, peaceful, and refreshing compared to the city. Daniel explained the history of the area, pointed out wildlife along the way, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. He was always checking in on us, making sure we had enough time for photos, walks, and exploring without ever feeling rushed. One of the things we appreciated most was how personal the tour felt. Daniel was great at answering questions and sharing local stories, which really brought the place to life. Everything was well organized, the transportation was smooth, and the whole day felt relaxed and fun. This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Panama. If you’re considering an Anton Valley day trip, we highly recommend Tao Travel 365 and Daniel as your guide made it truly unforgettable.

Perfect Day in El Valle de Antón – Outstanding Tour with Ali and Tao Travel 365! - Our day tour to El Valle de Antón with Tao Travel 365 was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, clear communication, punctual pick-up, and a seamless itinerary that made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Our guide Ali was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy. He shared so many interesting facts about the volcano crater, local wildlife, and the town’s rich history. He made every stop feel special and engaging. The organization by Tao Travel 365 was top-notch. You can tell they really care about their guests and put effort into every detail. It was the perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Highly recommended! If you’re visiting Panama City, this is a must-do day trip — and if you’re lucky enough to get Ali as your guide, you’re in for an amazing day!

A Perfect Blend of Adventure, Wildlife, and Local Charm! - We had a fantastic experience on the Anton Valley tour! The hike up to La India Dormida was absolutely breathtaking; both for the stunning views and the rewarding sense of achievement. We were lucky to have David as our tour guide and were joined by Elizabeth, who is training to be a tour guide. They both brought a lot of knowledge to the day, along with such friendly, positive vibes; it felt like exploring with local friends who genuinely cared about making the experience great. David, our main tour guide and driver, was absolutely brilliant; super friendly, experienced, and incredibly knowledgeable. He had us laughing all day with his great sense of humour and made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. He was also incredibly patient! David took us to a traditional Panamanian restaurant for lunch, which was delicious and such a nice cultural touch. We also loved our visits to the Nispero Zoo, the Artisan Market, and the Frog Sanctuary. Each stop offered something unique and memorable, especially learning about the endangered golden frog and the conservation efforts to protect it. The entire tour was well-organized, fun, and filled with unforgettable moments. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting El Valle de Antón; a perfect mix of nature, culture, and local charm. Great Day Out! - We did the La India Dormida hike in El Valle de Antón yesterday and had an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our incredible guide, David. From the very start, David was warm, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt comfortable and excited for the journey ahead. The hike itself isn’t too difficult, but good footwear with grip is definitely a must, as some sections are quite steep, especially near the beginning. Luckily, it started raining only toward the end, by then, we’d already passed the trickiest parts. One of the highlights was seeing the famous petroglyphs on the painted rocks. David shared that their meaning is still a mystery, some say it could be a map, others think it might be a harvest calendar. He really brought the history and legends of the area to life. Along the way, he pointed out the best photo spots, and the views from the top were absolutely breathtaking. The whole hike took about two hours, with plenty of time to pause, take in the scenery, and snap photos. He brought us to a lovely spot for lunch after the hike. But the day didn’t end there. David also took us to the local zoo and market, where he continued to share interesting facts and stories. Honestly, David is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He was attentive, fun, and made the whole day feel really special. If you’re planning to do this hike, I can’t recommend David enough. We had such a great time, and it’s a day we’ll remember for a long time.

SCAM operator, and Viator wouldn’t give us the money back - This is a SCAM. Don’t book with this company, we booked at 13:00 on Sunday for a tour on Monday and we got a message on Viator from the operator with our name and pick up spot (our hotel) which turned out later to be automated The operator didn’t show up the next day, we waited for 45 minutes and called and texted on WhatsApp and Viator but no response. They stood us up We apply for a refund through Viator but Viator says the partner didn’t approve it So they took the money and didn’t give us the tour Be careful and avoid this tour and this company Also last time we ever use Viator after being loyal customers only booking tours with them for years in all our trips Horrible scam and horrible experience

Unfortunate - This was unfortunately not a great idea. We were looking forward to the scenery and some good exercise. The investigations were way off. Instead of the 2 hrs drive it was supposed to take, it took 3 hrs due to regular traffic. Coming back to Panama City was even worse at almost 4 hrs. Not worth a 1 hr hike, a crappy lunch and a mediocre zoo. Our guide was not very helpful or engaging either. He also had a cold and coughed and sneezed in the open the entire time. He offered 1 bottle of water the entire trip. If this is somewhere you wish to visit, leave plenty of time and use another tour contractor.
