Excellent and Recommended - The contracted tour included transportation, entrance fees, and a sunset cocktail. The place is located within a Nature Reserve and in the morning only allows access to private visitors and in the afternoon (from 15:00 h and 17:00 h) allow access to visitors arriving on tours. We arrive at 15:00 h and after a walk along a path where the guide explains about the place you visit the Laguna Cejar (where it is forbidden to swim) and then you are taken to the Laguna Piedra where if you allow bathing, although in reality what is allowed and done is to float in the water since it is so high the concentration of salt that allows a person to float in the water without inconvenience. The stay in this lagoon is not more than 30 minutes since it is not advisable or healthy to stay in a lagoon with such a high concentration of salt. After this, we go to the sector of dressing rooms, bathrooms and showers which are very good facilities for the place and for the price of admission (I think $21,000). Later we were taken to the "Ojos del Salar" which correspond to two small lagoons and in one of them, if there is no wind, you can get photographs with reflection in the water. Here the guide prepares a cocktail which was quite good. Finally, the guide took us to the Tebenquiche Lagoon sector where we could see the sunset and then return to San Pedro. It is certainly a very good and recommended tour, and our guide Ernesto was a 7.

Wonderful tour - Great outing not too far from San Pedro de Atacama. Water was refreshing. Couldn't believe how we floated so easily. Great afternoon tea after. Recommend this tour.

Laguna Cejar - a salt bath, literally! - Receptivo Capricorno Expediciones Lagoa Cejar (27/01) Beautiful landscapes, accompanied by very interesting explanations about the geological formation of the site and the origin of salaries! The guide Paloma and the driver Maurizio were very nice and attentive, making the experience even more profitable! The waters of the lagoon Cejar were pleasant and in excellent temperature to cool off from the summer heat! A very different experience, which is very well worth it!

Unique experience - We really enjoyed our experience of floating without any effort in a lagoon in the Atacama desert: it was very unique! The park had installations to take a shower to rince ourselves afterwards, restrooms and changing rooms, which was very convenient. With the exception of the lagoon we were floating in, we could not really go near the other lagoons; they were a bit far and we could barely see them in the photos we have taken. Our guide Rafael was great: he was really kind with us, ensured we were drinking water and putting on sunscreen and told us relevant information about the lagoons and the desert.

Tour was organized and on... - Tour was organized and on time. Javier is gives good history and descriptions. Pickup time was 2:20 and we were returned by 5:45. It doesn't go for 5 hours (which is good, I'm not sure what we would've done). We did Laguna Cejar, then Laguna Tebinquiche. Ojos de Salar is on the way to Tebinquiche and is a 5 min stop. Salar de Atacama is the entire area, not really its own stop. Pisco sour + snacks at Tebinquiche were elaborate. Only thing that could've been better explained is the swimming situation at Laguna Cejar and what we need to bring. There are very clean public showers and changing rooms! They are a short walk from the Laguna. That walk is rocky / gravelly. Would recommend bringing flipflops so you can walk from the Lagoon to the showers without needing to put hiking boots/shoes back on. The showers are required so you can get the minerals/salts off but are also very short, you are allowed 1-2 mins max just to rinse off. Don't bring shampoo/bodywash, but you can change back into regular clothes in the private changing rooms so you don't need to keep your swimsuit on under your clothes after you swim.

Unforgettable - you’ll regret not going - An experience like no other - even if you have been to the Dead Sea. Beautiful scenery, a few other stops on the way and an incredibly insightful guide to answer all of your questions. I rearranged all of my other tours to do this and even passed on another to do this - 100% worth it

Great guide and views, but too little time at the Lagoon - Overall, it was a good tour with amazing views and a really friendly guide who spoke English and Spanish and shared lots of interesting facts along the way. The only minus was the time spent at the lagoon – 20 minutes just isn’t enough, especially considering the price. It felt rushed, and there wasn’t enough time to both take photos and go for a swim. 20 min in water if fine but then it would be nice to have time to take photos so around 1 hour in total in the area would’ve made a big difference. The sunset snack at the end was a nice touch and a great way to wrap up the day.
