A Tasty Way to Learn - This was one of the highlights of our trip! Our instructor, Jocelyn, was so fun and engaging for the whole time! It was so fun to learn about the process of making chocolate and how it connects with Mayan culture! It was also fun to get to pick the toppings for our chocolate bars! Just be prepared to taste cacao in lots of different phases- some sour, some bitter, some sweet. The chocolate was different than I expected since they don't add milk- we enjoyed our bars crumbled up with ice cream! Jocelyn was also so kind to let me buy some roasted cacao beans so I can replicate part of the lesson with my 6th grade students while we learn about the Mayans.

Just OK but would not recommend for introverts - Very cringy experience… I would love to learn more about the history and the chocolate making process, rather than playing cringy games with strangers…

Terrible! JAMÁS VENGAN - Terrible experience, NEVER COME! various unpleasant things 1. Since we arrived with my family I asked POR the museum and they said: “Museum as such has NO signs to read, ES the only information there is” which seems absurd because the place is called “ChocoMUSEUM”. 2. They serve NO drink in DE clay or POR least DE ceramic or glass cups, they use a DE DE cheapest disposable cup, simply using adequate glassware would enhance the experience 3. Ask POR desserts and only had alfajores and brownies, we ordered alfajores and they were ugly, hard and very mediocre 4. Worst DE all, my sister-in-law asked POR the bathroom to go with my son and was told that “NO ES prestaba” but they opened and then asked that it be closed, which is ridiculous because u ES consuming, it is not a favor that they do you by allowing you to use the bathroom

Nope. Not this one. - Never got to do it. Booked it for 3 pm the next day, they texted me and told me they canceled because they overbooked. But the ad on TripAdvisor was active for 2 days at that same time. Told us to switch days, and we had to change all the plans to accommodate for 11 am the next day. Then they shortly after sent passive-aggressive messages to sway us to change the time again. Then offered a mini class for less time for the same price we paid because they don't handle refunds. So we were forced to cancel and get our money back from the TripAdvisor. Bad experience. Our guide ended up telling us a free tour and the same make your chocolate class outside of Antigua. Recommend that was amazing! But not this one.
