Fun family time - We took our grandchildren to the chocolate factory for the workshop to make candy bars, and to learn about chocolate. The hour and a half class was very interesting and a whole lotta fun for everybody. Our instructor Jocelyn was very informative in explaining how chocolate goes from the tree to the bean, to cleaning, to grinding and finally into chocolate cream and cocoa powder. The grandkids are nine and 12 and we’re enthralled the entire time. Plus you get to take home a really tasty chocolate bar. Highly recommend!

At energetic class led by a grade teacher who knows they have fun - Participating in the chocolate preparation process. Including the students in both, making and tasting the various possibilities from from the Coco bean added much more depth to the class

Nice - A fun 2-hour workshop that you can probably do anywhere in Central America. The person who gave it was very enthusiastic.

The class was great but not a "must-do" activity in Antigua - The class was great but not a "must-do" activity in Antigua. It was very educational and we got to try three different chocolate drinks (a shot's worth). We also got to make our own chocolate bar which was nice but it was dark chocolate... wish they had a milk chocolate bar option. Also, the class is $10 cheaper if you go in person and book.

A bit disappointed - You create your bar with chocolate that is already melted, I wish we would have prepare it. The toppings were good but the chocolate itself wasn’t, which is bad for such a place. Then you start making things, from chocolate beans to paste, which was cool. The host was nice but it was too much of a show, definitely not for shy people.
