Went above and beyond to create a special experience - My sister and I did a two day package with Elementos from Antigua and had a wonderful super personalized experience. On our first day we took a private boat tour around Lake Atitlan to see the Mayan towns of San Pedro, San Juan and San Marcos with our guide Beto. Beto was one of the funniest and most knowledgeable guides I have ever had. Although he spoke amazing English he spoke Spanish to us so we could practice our Spanish more. That night we stayed in Santa Cruz at one of their cabins which was amazingly affordable, and had dinner a nice restaurant nearby. The next day we kayaked to San Marcos and then hiked back through the hills and countryside to Santa Cruz with amazing views of the lake the whole way. Our guide Mario was great that day too. Elementos helped on every aspect of the trip from pick up to drop off and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They also give back to the community, which is great. I'd definitely come back again to explore more.

Everything we hoped for and MUCH MORE!! - We are knocked out about the amazing experience that Lee (owner), Marcelino and Antonio (guides) set up for us. We are three friends who hadn't seen each other for a while and it was the perfect reunion adventure . The laid back, pick your own level of intensity type of tour, great room with a fantastic view of the lake, makes you want to extend your stay for a whole week! The food in the hotel is amazing (vegan options available in the regular menu!) and we didn't have to worry about ordering extra food or drinks since they swiftly add up the extras to your bill. If you want to eat somewhere else, they can refund your bill, however we didn't need to go anywhere since everything was delicious. I will be recommending this place to everyone who visits Guatemala and I will surely be back! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING LEE !!

Unbelievable experience on Lake Atitlan - Lee and Kayak Guatemala created an amazing day for my group. He is incredibly easy to communicate with through What’s App and gets back to you often within minutes. He also tailors the entire excursion around your needs. We had to change the start time 3 times and it wasn’t an issue at all. In addition, you can pick and choose what adventure activities you want to do or not to do. But what makes this company so personal is that Lee actually took us to his own home and made breakfast for us as well, which is right on the edge of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. We loved Guatemala but this was probably our most memorable experience on the whole trip. Definitely book Lee and Kayak Guatemala for your next excursion.

Gorgeous paddling, wonderful guide & company - Loved kayaking two days on Lake Atitlán with Alex, a great guide and conversationalist, and well as exploring nearby villages by foot and car. Los Elementos Adventure Center is a sweet operation with nice accommodations if needed, run by good people who go the extra mile.

Fall in love with Atitlan by boat and by foot - We loved our two-day kayaking and hiking tour. Our local guide Alex met us when we stepped off the shuttle in Panajachel and took care of our every need from then on – whether carrying our bags or accommodating our food requests. He taught us a lot about the local Mayan culture and communities around the lake, and answered the many questions we had. We visited Santa Cruz and San Marcos and walked on the foot paths between the villages. We kayaked the shoreline between Panajachel and San Marcos over the two days, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Everything was included in the price of our tour, including overnight accommodations at La Iguana Perdida, meals, transportation to and from Antigua, and all kayak equipment.

This was an excellent excursion... -
This was an excellent excursion. Los Elementos, Elaine and Lee, are great hosts. Our guide Alex was Mayan and got us into Mayan villages while hiking. We actually went in homes and saw first hand how the villagers live. He was an excellent guide, quite helpful to us on the hikes and kayaking. we are 59 and 60, you have to be physically fit to do the kayak and hiking, it is beautiful but strenuous. Alex helped all the time and adapted the second day to our capabilities. Cliff diving into the cool clear water, hiking unbelievable trails along the lake, and kayaking the clear blue waters. We have already made plans to return next year. I recommend staying at least 3 days, 9 villages to explore, hiking galore, swimming, kayaking, reading a book.
