Great value - This tour was great value for money - we visited the lower and upper Duden waterfalls which was fantastic! The visit to the jewellery store was a bit odd and felt a bit like a sales tactic but still enjoyed seeing all the diamonds and trying them on. The boat cruise was uneventful - no tour guide explaining anything, just loud music blaring. The tour of old town was a bit rushed as we were running behind. I'm not sure I learned much from that but it was nice being at the bazaar. Time was really tight on the schedule, perhaps knock out the jewellery store visit. Lunch was great too. All in all, still definitely worth it and I highly recommend for the great value and the waterfalls if nothing else.

8 hours on a coach & an unexpected jewellery warehouse was not what we expected! - We were picked up around 7am by a minibus. We stopped to pick up a few other local tourists and then were taken to a service station where we were told to change to a bigger coach. We were told we were waiting for 10 minutes for other tourists but this actually turned into a 30 minute wait. We then drove for a little longer before parking up again as we were waiting for other tourists. We told we would be waiting for 5 minutes but again was more like 20 minutes. We then continued the drive, still picking up tourists! We eventually got to mount olympus cable car around 10:30am. At this point we had been on the coach/minibus for over 3 hours for a 1 hour 40 minute journey from our hotel. Our guide told us to go straight up to level 2 to not waste any time. The cable car was a good experience and would recommend a visit. Our tour guide told us that as the weather wasn’t great, if we were quick he would have time to take us to Dinoland. There were quite a few children on the trip so we didn’t mind this. We were the Olympus cable car for 1 hour 15 and then back on the coach for an approximate 1 hour to dinoland. We didn’t realise, but this was actually where we were to eat our included lunch! The guide lead us to believe it was an extra trip due to the poor weather but it wasn’t. The food as good! We had the chicken kebab with rice, salad and chips. Drinks were not included which we knew about in advance so that was fine. After approximately 1 hour we were then back on the coach. We weren’t told where we were going but we assumed it would be to either the waterfalls or Antalya town which were next stops on the itinerary. We drove for another hour (the amount of times we passed the 750 year bridge, the airport and decathlon was so many we lost count as we were literally being driven round in circles). We then pulled up a big warehouse and was told to get off and wait in a reception area. We thought it must be some kind of museum before the old town visit, and were separated into 2 groups. We went with the English speaking guide and we followed her into a very big room filled with cabinets of silver and diamonds. The guide told us about sky diamonds for 2 minutes and then told us to shop. A big fella, similar build to Tony Soprano, who worked there must’ve thought we were going to buy and started to follow our every move. We are not interested in jewellery and if we were, we’d spend time researching before spending hundreds of pounds! We would not just be dropped into buying! There were no clear exits. We asked how to get out but the staff just ignored us. My husband noticed a wall that was slightly ajar and slid it open and to our relief found the exit. A man came over trying to e give us back in and told me we could not leave without purchasing. I assume he was joking as I pushed passed him with a number of the other tourists right behind me. We were then in a shop, like you go into after getting off a ride in Alton towers, with magnets, cuddly toys etc. we walked straight passed hoping to get on our coach but the driver was sat at a table on his phone. Obviously expecting us to have been there a lot longer. I don’t think anyone on our bus bought a thing! Once back on the bus, we went passed the 750 year old bridge, the airport and decathlon again to go to the waterfalls. Unfortunately the weather was so bad we didn’t stay there very long as everyone was soaked. We then got back on the coach (passed the 750 year old bridge, the airport and decathlon) to Antalya. We saw Hadrian’s gate and then was told we had some free time. The town was nice and we enjoyed this. We should’ve been on a boat trip but this was cancelled due to the weather, but I am not sure how we would’ve fitted this in? It was the back to the coach to go back to the hotel. We had to listen to our names and were separated onto minibuses. After we had been driving in the busy rush hour city centre traffic for approximately 30 minutes, we ended back where we started to pick another 2 tourists up! Then it was off for the drive back to the hotel and yes you’ve guessed it, back passed the 750 year old bridge, the airport and decathlon! So all in all we were out of our hotel for 12 hours and around 8 hours of this was spent sat on 3 different coaches/minibuses! If we have been taken straight to the locations we had booked I.e. Olympus cable car, waterfalls and the old town it would’ve been a good day out but the jewellery warehouse and the amount of sitting about on the coach spoiled it!

I’ll first start by... - I’ll first start by saying the driver and tour guide were both very pleasant and provided fun facts along the way. With that said, this specific tour was a lost day for us. The tour provider really needs to improve the tour description and order of events. We started late and after the first 6 hours we had only really visited the cable car attraction. Lots of bus time… lunch was at a Dinosaur park which I guess would be okay if you had kids and the description didn’t say a sea side Turkish lunch. For us it was a major waste of time and the food waste of opportunity to eat the delicious food Turkey has to offer. We finally arrived at the water fall after an awkward jewelry store sell stop. After 30 minutes max we were back in the bus again…. Once we arrived in old city we seen Hadrians gate and walked the streets straight to the marina. Either the city doesn’t have much to see or this was very condensed. Upon arrival at the marina which was also 8 hours in, we found our boat to already be gone. Our tour guide was able to arrange another boat in about 30 minutes time. The boat ride while scenic was a rather small loop and also very condensed. Fortunately for us we stayed in old city but the remaining of the group had to get on the bus yet again. All in all if you want to spend your precious time in beautiful Antalya, in a bus riding around the city spending maybe 1.5 of the 9 hours it took than give this a consideration. Otherwise save your self the day and taxi to the falls and cable car, as well as walk around old city yourself and save money and lots of time. Again our tour guide did his best but this tour did not match the description nor cost for us.
