Beautiful place fantastic lunch! - Great places to visit but no English speaking guide. When we asked the Fri er he referred us to the sign which explains about the site. I history of commentary about the city. The only thing he did was drive me back to the store where I left my phone, for that I was very grateful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and enough for 8 of us. No water or fruit provided as per your inclusions.

A Few Hours Touring Koh Samui - A nice couple of hours getting a sense of this island. Some nice viewpoints and beaches. A very nice lunch with a water view included. Was convenient that this tour was provided by the same company Highseas) that provides port services.

Half day tour - Nice tour as described (except for the mummified monk as the place was closed). Start time was 10 instead of 11 but we liked the early start due to the hot weather. Driver was patient we asked to stop for coffee and he was okay with it. He did not proven to be a tour guide as his English was very basic. Surprise lunch included in a local restaurant (spring rolls, curry, salad). No water / drinks were included as the description states. The car was rather a minibus for the two of us and it was a bit stinky (very strong boiled rice smell)

Good if you want a quick look around the island. - It was a good thing to do, knowing it was a relatively quick way of having a look around but the driver wasn’t very friendly and the food served at the restaurant was bland and boring. The car was nice though.

Bare minimum - Absolute bare minimum of service. Supposed to be English-speaking "tour guide" in a "private car" with cold drinks along the way. What it actually was: a driver who spoke bare minimum English, just enough to communicate how long we had in each spot (and only if asked). I tried to ask him some things about the spots, but it was fruitless -- I don't blame the guy for not speaking English, but don't call it an English-speaking tour... The vehicle --yes, we were the only ones in the vehicle, but it was a 10-person mini-van. (It was fine in terms of spreading out, but the ad made it seem like it would be more of a higher-end SUV.) Cold drinks? Only when we bought them when we wandered around one of the tourist traps we visited... At the end of the tour, he took us to a restaurant where the meal was apparently part of the tour -- but the guy couldn't tell me if we had to pay or not. (We didn't pay for the food -- just the drinks, which was fine.) But they never asked us if we had any allergies or if there was any food we liked/disliked. I suspect this is similar to other tours on the island -- it's not too expensive, but keep your expectations very low. You basically get a guy who drives you around.

They offered “ a knowledgeable and friendly local guide who will offer plenty of history information” but only a driver. - Don’t book this tour. They offered “ a knowledgeable and friendly local guide who will offer plenty of history information” but they sent only a driver with basic English speaking skills, very kind though, but the only information we received was the names of the places we visited. They offered 5 hours tour and the driver said it was booked only for 4 hours, but he agreed to 5 hours once we showed him the booking confirmation. We found out we could have hired a driver for 5 hours for 2.500 thb or 2.750 thb. When we tried to reach out the operator number, they were just asking us to call different numbers! Nobody was responsible. No tripadvisor, no Oh Hoo or any other operator involved. Don’t waste your time and money.
