Great day trip to Angthong National Marine Park - We had a great day on this day trip by boat to the National Marine Park. The big boat provided a smooth ride over the waves. The guides were friendly and helpful. The whole trip was well organized. The first stop had an option of hiking to the top of a mountain for a fantastic view. Note that it is steep and over 700 steps to the top as I counted. If you are older, I would advise not to try this as I was very tired after the trip up and down. The beaches visited were nice and relaxing. The food provided was good also. I would recommend.

Perfectly organized. Friendly staff. Amazing! - Everything was very well organized, guides were super friendly. The activities were great, the views and places visited are amazing. 😍 Very good value for money. Before the tour we had some questions and they were super nice and fast to provide all the information we needed. I would choose them again. Highly recommended 😊

Good value trip, stunning views - Good value trip. The views from the steep but short climbs are amazing. Pick up from hotel was on time and well organised to take you to ferry terminal. You pay 300 THB per person before boarding (cash only) for National Park access. It’s about 90 mins to first stop and unfortunately it was very stormy seas so most (including me) got sea sick en route .. never happened before! Because of the storms we didn’t stop for snorkelling. We went to beach where we picked up kayaks … it was very windy so although only a short route to the beach for the beautiful look out, the kayaking back to the beach was cancelled and a boat picked us up. The climb to the top was well worth it. Just beautiful and the skies had cleared up then. We then headed on boat and had lunch which was chicken rice and salad. The boat took us to another beautiful beach only 10 mins away where there was another climb and view point. This is 150 THB paid on the path. We didn’t bother with this one and enjoyed the beach and a swim. The journey back was about 1 hour 45… then taxi to hotel. Overall great day which without the storms would have been even better. Lovely staff - Lovely and very nice staff, boat was quite outdated and slow, 1.5h to get to first island.is teas and coffe ,banana's and bun with jam, first island is a beautiful beach wit oprion to hike,we done first 4 levels out of 5 i think, path is made as steps, very fitness challenging in this heat. Beach was amazing not much trash but I seen an old shoe and some fishing ropes on the beach. Then we back on boat lovely very nice lunch, rice, fried /cooked chicken, salad, watermelon and some drinks. Swcond stop was two locations for kayaking/snorkeling GET OFF ON FORST LOCATION EVEN IF YOU DONT DO EITHER OF ACTIVITIES! We get off on sevind location and it was AWFUL! very small beach, nothing to see snorkeling, engine noise from small boats and generator for cafe plus diesel smell from both of them! First location had much bigger beach to relax. That was the worst bit of that trip. Lovely staff but you spending more on the boat then on island's.

If only the weather was good... - This would've been a really fun and adventurous trip if the weather wasn't terrible that day. Due to strong wind and rain, we experienced rough seas on the way there and back. Quite a number of people got sea sick. The boat ride to the park is nearly 2 hours each way, just something to be aware of. I should also mention that it's a great value for money.

Great ! - The view point in the national park is so stunning and definitely worth the tiring hike to go up which took us more than 90 minutes to go up and photoshoot and going down. I just felt that the boat trip is a bit long other than that everything is as described. The staff is great, they are all helpful and understanding. To recommend

Long boat trip - Long, too long boat ride and saw very few fish while snorkeling. Lunch was good. The park was beautiful, but I expected it to be more beautiful and more heavenly

Did not meet my expectations - The staff and crew were great and depending on your expectations the cruise was ok. Billed as a kayaking and snorkeling experience, the tour did not meet my expectations. Kayaking was a 30 min trip with 20 other boats and the snorkeling was terrible. 6ft visibility and very little marine life. Appears the trip was all about walking to a lagoon to take pictures (no swimming in lagoon) and hiking up mountain to take more pictures. Lunch was good and as I said crew was great, just did not meet my expectations

Disappointing experience - We didn't pay much for the tour, but we certainly also didn't get much of an experience. The boat trip is not 1:30 hours but 2 hours each way, so less time to spend at the beaches. The indoor deck of the boat, was filled with diesel fumes from the midship exhaust system. The boat engine and exhaust was very loud, so I only heard half of the announcements from the guides. The two beaches we visited were beautiful, but where we expected a National Marine Park to be a quiet place, we had to listen to loud pop music playing from the beach bars. The last and vary small beach we visited, had a very small coral reef, that apparently had been dead for many years, so we didn't care to do any snorkeling. Anyhow no mask and snorkel were provided from the tour guides. There wasn't provided enough bottled drinking water, so we had to stock up on the beaches.
