Dunas de Ancón - Commence your adventure with your guide in Ancon, followed by a swift journey to the dune gateway in the nearby Villas de Ancon community. Here, we initiate the excursion with a short trek to the dunes (15 minutes).
Upon arrival at the dunes, we’ll conduct a quick tutorial on equipment handling and fundamental postures. Next, we’ll tackle a ‘bunny heel’ to master the braking technique, then progress through varying inclines from the easier green zones to the more challenging blue zones of the dunes. There will be opportunities to capture the moment on camera and interact with the local inhabitants. This outing offers a glimpse into the majestic desert vistas and serves as an introduction to the thrilling sport of sandboarding.

Get to Ancon district and get to Ovalo Chacas (40 km north of Lima Downtown) near the Tambo convenience store. Make sure you are in contact with your instructor or our team.

Great experience! - Loved the experience to sandboard in the desert. We were the only ones there, so it felt special. It was well organised and Rolo took the time for us. Both the driver (Alberto) and Rolo (instructor) were very friendly. Also they took a lot of photos and videos for us. Recommended off-the-beaten-track tour!

CAMPING & SANDBOARDING LIMA - Rolando Huamani was our sandboard instructor & Frank Tello was our driver. Both very professional & knowledgeable. Beside the picturisque dunes, they both made this experience unforgettable. We got picked up on time at our airb&n, and had a few lessons on our first day. They set up the camping space and made our dinner (hot dogs) and calientitos ( warm pisco drink). We went on a night walk through the dunes with only the moonlight, and were able to descend from a dune on our boards at 11 pm with just the moonlight and the jeeps light. Next day we had coffee and bread & continued our lessons descending from 2 dunes and headed back home. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING & UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE !!! Also, Rolando took really cool pictures & videos.
