• G4PC+JR Big Lake - Embark on a thrilling snowmobile journey through the Alaskan wilderness starting from Anchorage. Traverse boreal forests, glide over frozen lakes, and navigate the valleys and hills in regions such as Hatcher Pass, Big Lake, Chugach State Park, or Bird Creek.

Opt to drive your own snowmobile or join another group member. The guide will select from various specific locations, considering group input, experience level, and other factors, to ensure optimal riding conditions for each tour.

On clear days, relish breathtaking views of the Chugach, Alaska, and Talkeetna or Kenai mountain ranges, often featuring Denali / Mt. McKinley! Experience authentic Alaskan riding, free from set tracks or figure-eights! Typically, rides cover 20-30 miles and last two to three hours.

This adventure does not follow a fixed path or predetermined route. The guide will select the route from hundreds of miles of available trails. The ride will be tailored to the group’s comfort level in terms of speed and terrain difficulty. It will begin with ensuring everyone is fitted with a helmet and that clothing and gear are suitable for safety and comfort. Following this, the guide will provide an orientation to the snowmobile (snowmachine), ensuring everyone is familiar with the controls and features necessary for safe operation and an enjoyable experience. The journey may traverse various terrains, including frozen lakes, open fields, tundra, and forested trails, mostly groomed for a smooth, safe ride. Wildlife sightings are common, with potential encounters with moose, coyotes, foxes, bald and golden eagles, among others!
