- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains….
- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains. Time permitting, we will make a stop.
- Bird Creek - We drive over this famous fishing creek, and if the right time of season, might see fisherman lined along the banks hoping to catch Silver salmon.
- Explorer Glacier - Weather permitting, we might spot some hanging valley glaciers in the mountaintops on our drive at the end of the Turnagain Arm!
- Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Our main attraction is the amazing non-profit wildlife sanctuary that has rehabilitated & provided a forever-home for some injured & orphaned wild Alaska animals. We will spend approximately 1.5+ hours at the center. Half will be guided & half will be free time to explore on your own.

A picturesque drive along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet will offer you breathtaking views while en route to one of the best attractions in southcentral Alaska - the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center! We will guide you through this wildlife sanctuary while sharing about the injured and orphaned wild animals in their care; you’ll also have some free time to walk around on your own. This trip is approximately one hour each way to the wildlife center with approximately 1.5-2 hours at the center itself, totaling a 4-hour educational tour with spectacular scenery the whole way!

Meet at the corner of 7th Avenue & F Street at the Dena'ina Convention Center in downtown Anchorage. There are no public restrooms here. Pickups begin 20-40 minutes before tour departure; please confirm with us 1-2 days in advance of your tour with us for your specific pickup time.

Great! - David is a great guide. He's super knowledgeable and I learned a lot. It was sunny and warm the day I went and the animals were active. David told us their stories and talked a about the conservation efforts that are underway. He was equally informative on the rise there and back.

Unique, Personal, Friendly and WAY better than the Zoo! - What a unique and enlightening tour! My mom and I were considering the Anchorage Zoo but we were recommended this tour by a couple we met while at a bar. This tour was SO MUCH BETTER than the Zoo. David is extremely knowledgeable, shares insights you wouldn't hear elsewhere, and personalizes the experience to hit on the things you're looking for. We're so fortunate to have found this excursion - it was the icing on the cake to a great trip.

Amazing Tour! - Our guide David was amazing! He provided us with rich history of Alaska, the culture and what life in Alaska looks like today.
We stopped at several locations to and from the Wildlife Conservation Center. My daughter and I took amazing photos!
David guided us through the Wildlife Conservation Center, provided us with information about the wildlife life there and gave us time to explore on our own!

Unforgettable Adventure with David and Frontier Tours! - What an incredible tour! David was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of energy. His commentary throughout the trip added so much depth and context, making the experience even more enjoyable. Great tour highly recommended. - My first time in Alaska and the first activity of the week. We started a 6 hour tour with David and it was a win win! He was very personable and very private, only 3 of us on the journey. We learned some very interesting facts about Alaska, the 49th and largest State in the nation. David was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with.

Amazing! - This tour was incredible! The drive was so beautiful and David was an extremely knowledgeable guide! We learned a lot about Alaskan Wildlife. We saw 3 wild moose on the drive to and from the wildlife center. It was amazing to be so close to the bears at the center. I recommend this tour to everyone visiting Anchorage.

Loved This Wildlife Tour - Such a good experience! David was really kind and informative. We saw bears, moose and a bunch of other animals up close, all being cared for in a place that’s genuinely about conservation. We even made stops in between for pictures. Overall, an amazing tour — highly recommend it
