- Anchorage - Downtown Anchorage is a great place to start your local, guided exploration. Your exploration of the largest city in Alaska begins with a custom pick-up at your hotel. We share a bit of the history of Anchorage and begin your tour.
- The Ulu Factory - Historic Downtown is a must see followed by a short drive to the Alaska Railroad station Anchorage Depot where we will stop at the Ulu Factory and Ship Creek salmon stream.
- Beluga Point - Beluga point is just south of Anchorage on the Turnagain Arm. This destination features incredible Alaskan vistas and wildlife viewing. Dahl Sheep are often visible on the rocky crags of the Chugach mountains and when migrating, Beluga Whales can be seen plying through the fjord.
- Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - After Beluga Point, we stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This is your guaranteed opportunity to see bears, elk, moose and many other Alaskan animals. Your guide will share information on all the amazing animals at the Center. We have a few favorites to share!
- Byron Glacier Trail - Our final destination is the Glacier River Walk to Byron Glacier. This easy 20-25 minute walk allows you the opportunity to walk along the river water produced from the hanging Bryon Glacier and eventually walk up to view the glacier itself.
- Girdwood - After experiencing multiple unique experiences of glacier viewing, walk along the river and the Wildlife Conservation Center, we stop for an optional lunch, at our favorite locally owned spot in Girdwood, Base Camp. The food is delicious and well priced ( Have we mentioned the seafood chowder!)
- Turnagain Arm Drive - Turnagain Arm is considered one of the most scenic drives in the United States, Besides all the great places to experience- just the views and the drive itself are spectacular.

Highly recommend - This was an excellent experience. The Wildlife Conservation Center and Courtney's knowledge of it, its mission, each of the different animals was superior. It was easy to learn that she frequents the Center and really knows about the animals. It was convenient to have a pick up/drop off at my hotel. The size of our group was 8 which was just large enough. We took frequent stops for pictures and lunch in Girdwood at Base Camp which was delicious.

Knowledgeable - Cortney was our guide and she was phenomenal! She has a lot of knowledge and is very friendly ! The weather wasn’t the best but she made the best of it

Nature not far from the city - This is a great way to see nature while staying in Anchorage! I really enjoyed all the stops, especially the wildlife conservation center. At the lunch stop in Girdwood, you MUST get the seafood chowder. It’s also a reasonable place to get king crab legs. Overall I recommend!

Inspiring sights and a great tour guide - This tour went to some amazing sights close to Anchorage. The tour guide, Teresa, made the trip extra special. She is an Alaska native and told us stories about her many outdoor adventures, including bear and moose encounters, and her knowledge of the area allowed her to answer all our many questions. Definitely worth doing!

Great tour! - Rick was a great tour guide! We got to see a little of everything in our 8 hour tour and had a great balance of beautiful scenic driving, walking around viewpoints, casually strolling on trails, and learning about the area. Would highly recommend!

Great tour!! - This tour was by far one of the best that I was in Alaska, our tour guide Rick, is a fenomenal guy, fun, entertaining, knowledgeable, smart and very friendly, very comfortable ride in a Mercedes Vialy, we were able to see nice Anchorage local places, if you want to see bears this is the tour, we went and contemplate Glaciers, the views are stunning, it had it all!

Good time - Great time. Rick was an excellent guide. Good visit. The weather wasn't great but that didn’t stop a good time. Alva provided were good and the van was comfortable.

Experience of a Lifetime - Beautiful views, and SO educational! We made some new friends on the cruise and enjoyed all aspects of the itinerary. Just the right amount of time for being aboard!
