One of the best Alaska experiences for us! - We took a train ride, and the Glacier Cruise/Wildlife Tour with Phil. I regret neither tour, as they were both informative, but Phil really took the time to point out things that we had not been able to see previously. He was excellent, and the tour is well worth the money!

Great tour and guide - Am amazing day spent touring the glaciers and the wildlife around Anchorage. And it was made so much more enjoyable and informative thanks to our wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly guide Phil. Phil was the kind of perfect tour guide you would wish for; he shared so much information and went out of his way to make the experience enjoyable and informative for us. Thank you Phil.

Wonderful experience - We took 2 tours with Planet Earth Tours; Glacier & Wildlife Discovery Tour and the Day in Seward & Kenai Fjords National Park. Both tours were amazing. We had Phil and Matt as our tour guides, respectively, and they were both friendly, informative and exceptional. Major Marine Tours was the partner for the boat portion of the tour. Experienced captain, Nicole, and fantastic crew. We saw 19-20 humpback whales feeding together. The owner, Albert, courteously picked us up in Anchorage after returning on the Alaska Railroad. All around amazing experience with great people. We would highly recommend.

Fabulous Tour - Phil was our tour guy for the day. He was fabulous! He shared wonderful insight about the local area as we drove to the various stops on our tour. And loved it was a small group…total of 5! Tour was a total 7+ hours and definitely felt like we got our money’s worth with the many stops. Highly recommend.

Just okay - The day was pleasant - but we were disappointed based on what we expected. We did not get to visit Girdwood or the Chugach Mountain viewpoint. We did enjoy the Portage Glacier cruise and conservation center but we could have done those at much less cost. We booked this excursion based on the detailed itinerary advertised. It was not our impression that that was what we experienced. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered several times to stop if we saw something we wanted to see. As this was our first time to this area, we were depending on the guide to show us sites and places we might enjoy. Again - we enjoyed the day but it was disappointing.P

No Customer Service - I actually did not make it on the Tour. When I tried to book thru Tripadvisor and thru the provider's website, they both said that the minimum persons I can book is 2... but according to the sites, there were only 3 seats left. I left a message with them on their web page and Albert responded back saying he will get back to me about this issue and will book it manually for me. He never got back to me and no one responded back to my chats and emails. Luckily for me, I was able to book a similar tour with another provider.
