Even a Grizzly couldn't Stop Her! - Britt, the guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. We proceeded along the albert Loop Trail near Eagle River, until...we had a grizzly female with 3 clubs directly in our path yards away! she cautioned the group not to run, walked backwards, and redirected the hike. She conducted herself professionally in every way. Loved this hike!!!

They also provided snacks: cheese, apples and granola bars and offered to drop you off at your desired destination within downtown.

Our guide, Britt, was... - Our guide, Britt, was outgoing as well as sensitive to the needs of the individuals in our group. Her knowledge of the area, the plants and trees we saw on the trail, as well as the animals we might have seen, was impressive. The 3-mile Eagle River trail was easy to navigate and it was beautiful!

Great Hike and Great Guide! - We had a great hike and Jacob our guide was awesome! My husband and I appreciated the pace of the hike since it was our first one. (We are 59 and 66). Jacob was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. He put me at ease about being in bear 🐻 country. (I lost the sole of my boot and he duct taped me up, haha). This hike is worth it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful hike in Chugash State Park - Rebecca was a great tour leader - it was our first day in Alaska and she provided so much information that helped us get the lay of the land. It was a fairly easy hike through a beautiful forest setting - accessible for most people. We had a little rain, not unexpected in Alaska in September, but it did not damper the experience. On the way back, we also stopped at Barbara Falls and took a short trail to the base of a beautiful waterfall. It was a very pleasant morning of hiking and getting to experience Alaska up close.
