The Jungle Beckons

As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve had my fair share of adrenaline-pumping experiences, but the allure of the 7 Tours Punta Cana Adventure was irresistible. Upon arrival, the park’s main hub greeted us with its five buildings, each serving a purpose for our day’s activities. After securing our belongings in lockers, we were ready to dive into the adventure. Our first stop was the Safari, where we rode in a military-style vehicle to a mini farm. Here, we fed goats and learned about the local coffee and cacao production, sampling the rich flavors of the Dominican Republic. Soaring Through the Canopy

After a hearty buffet lunch, it was time to ascend the mountain via the only chairlift in the Dominican Republic. The anticipation built as we reached the top, ready to tackle the park’s five zip lines. As someone who has jumped off cliffs and soared through the air before, the rush of zipping through the jungle canopy at speeds of up to 70 km/h was exhilarating. The views were breathtaking, and the sense of freedom was unparalleled.

Next up were the buggies, and I couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel. The course was muddy and challenging, perfect for an adrenaline junkie like me. We donned our swimsuits, goggles, and bandanas, ready to embrace the mess. The thrill of navigating the extreme roads, splashing through mud, and feeling the wind on my face was pure joy. It was a reminder of why I love adventure travel so much.

A Tranquil Finale

As the day wound down, we embarked on a serene horseback ride through the jungle. The horses, calm and agile, allowed us to soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. It was a peaceful contrast to the high-octane activities earlier in the day, providing a moment of reflection and appreciation for the diverse experiences the park offered.

As we left the park, the only downside was the closed drink station, leaving us parched for the ride back. Despite this minor inconvenience, the day was a resounding success, filled with laughter, thrills, and unforgettable moments.
