- Westerkerk - Amsterdam’s most beautiful church in the city centre. The famous Westerkerk, a 17th century reformed church built for the rich people in the canal district. Rembrandt is buried over here.
- Statue of Anne Frank - Next to the Westerkerk there is a beautiful little statue of Anne Frank as a remembrance. We will have a short stop here.
- Anne Frank House - See the house where the Franks were hiding over 2 years and learn about the connections with the neighbourhood and how they survived over two years.
- Anne Frank House - See the old entrance of the Anne Frank House
- Leliegracht - Virtual Reality Tour of the Anne Frank House. You will see the hiding place and how it looked during the years of WW2.
The VR tour will be in the cosy Cafe Spanjer and Van Twist together with a coffee, tea or a softdrink.

Annually, countless visitors flock to Amsterdam to witness the hideout of Anne Frank from the Nazis. This excursion retraces the path Anne navigated to reach her sanctuary. Step back in time to the Amsterdam of WWII, and feel Anne’s sentiments during the grim years of warfare. Through quotes from her diary, we’ll obtain insights about Anne, the ‘hidden annex,’ and what she witnessed from her sanctuary. The journey ends in a cafe where you could grab a beverage and enter the Secret Annex virtually, courtesy of a virtual reality replica constructed by the Anne Frank Foundation. Passing through the bookshelf into the secret space, you’ll observe that, unlike the actual property, the VR property includes furniture, providing a glimpse into life there from 1942 to 1944. You won’t be dealing with any crowds, and can explore the virtual dwelling at your leisure. We’re confident that this is the closest you can get to the actual experience, without physically setting foot in the property. Perfectly suited for those who are unable to secure tickets to the Annex.

We will meet next to the Max Euwe statue, which is in front of Wagamama. The statue is across the square from Hard Rockn Cafe.
The meeting point is close to Leidseplein (tram stops 1,2,3,5,7,12 and 19)

Good walking tour - Kaase was a great tour guide. Very informative. Found comfortable places to stop with the group and kept moving at a comfortable pace. VR experience was unique but the walking tour was better IMO.

Seriously make up that I didn’t get the ticket into the house - Cuz we didn’t get tickets to the real house, this is a good choice to feel the whole experience into the house.
And I love that tour guide also told us the history from Amsterdam .

Fantastic and perfect pace - Lovely tour and our guide, Kaleigh, was fantastic. The tour started and we walked through the streets and she pointed out cool street art, sites and monuments. The explanations were great and she was very helpful to answer questions. The VDI experience was really cool - great to explore the house and learn the history!
