Street Artists Rock - Very unique and quicky place. Captured the essence of Amsterdam in the numerous canvases. Will definitely visit again. Easy free access from Amsterdam Central.

Incredible must-see museum, even if you don't like street art! - The museum has left us speechless. The paintings (and other art pieces) are incredible, served by a fantastic natural light, with plenty of room to appreciate them at their real scale (some of them are huge). Colors are vibrant. Messages are powerful. Location on the North side is a real bonus (fresh air, less touristy, easy access by a free ferry from Central Station). In case you'd be held back by the street art orientation, I'd say this: if you like art, if you like color, if you like light ... then you will love Straat Museum (and you will also learn a lot as the museum makes a great job at explaining and giving context).

Great hour with really interesting art. - Really great experience. Unlike other art galleries. Easily accessible by the free boat every 15 minutes from the Centraal station. Cafes near to STRAAT if you arrive early. Cafes inside during the day.

Staff went above duties to find my lost phone - The art is incredible in size and so different that any other museum we have ever toured. I even enjoyed the short video showing the making of a few pieces. I would think spray paint is less forgiving! The staff was also outstanding. We stopped at the cafe to sit and rest and also grab something to drink, and while there, I left my phone! Of course, I didn't realize until we were back at our hotel and a ferry ride away. I was just beside myself! We sent an email right away and the staff located it, particularly intern Valerie. Thank you so much!!

Make time for this - There is certainly no shortage of world class art museums in Amsterdam, but go and experience and be impacted by what is here. The artwork is powerful and varied. At one point I noticed a faint smell of spray paint, and later saw that an artist was working in the lot, which added to the atmosphere of the museum and the sense of immediacy of this medium. Not to be missed.

Street art. - Something different. Really great setting in an old industrial warehouse. Lots of huge pieces of street art which was impressive. Highly recommend. Just make sure you get on the right free ferry from Amsterdam station otherwise it’s a 40 minute walk!

An Unexpected Surprise. - This was a total surprise and one of the highlights of the time we spent in Amsterdam. The museum is a little difficult to get to from the central station but well worth the effort.

STREET ARTISTS - MUST SEE X lovers of this type of art. It is obvious that the lived life of murals in the corners of cities is something else. Here the works are “glazed” but beautiful, huge, full of color but with intense black and white. The best would be to have the audio guide in Italian. Ticket included in the city card

Grand scale, great setting, extraordinary art - There is a free passenger ferry from behind the Central train station to a dock 2 minutes from the gallery. You can’t miss the entrance, with a giant Anne Frank mural overhead. Inside there are two connected halls with giant artwork from many different artists. There are lockers, a good cafe and workshops. Well worth taking the time to visit.
