Great, highly recommended. I watched it twice. - The 45-minute film “Drama 1882” purchased by the Stedelijk (entry Venice Biennale 2024 in the Egyptian Pavilion was great. The programming of the Stedelijk is always very innovative and socially involved.

Attraction value - Price was okay and what touched me was the free ticket for children. Inside was very nice and meaningful, very pleasant for small children.

Thought provoking and enjoyable. - We were looking for a museum with contemporary art or design (only area of art that coincides with our teen) and which was not too busy or small for us. It was perfect. So many thought provoking exhibitions in one place. We needed to sit with a coffee after the stunning Pamela Rosencranz exhibition. There was much debate after the sheep one (Formafantasma). Then, the whole collection to explore, followed by sketching in the sculpture hall, and a meal.

My place to visit on a Monday morning. - Visiting the Stedelijk is always a nice experience whether you live in the city of Amsterdam (like me) or as a tourist. There is always help around. The free media tour helps you navigate the museum if you don’t have a guide. At the end of the visit you can have a nice cup of coffee at the local cafe, the next door restaurant and leave for a walk around Museumplein.

Disappointed - Most of the exhibits were very unappealing and looked like unskilled artists work. Price of admission too high for so many seemingly unskilled artists work.

Modern art - Some modern art that needs getting used to and explaining. Were there at 10:00, came in quickly with a pre-booked ticket. The free audio guide will explain this. The paintings etc. were the best liked at the beginning of the tour.

Disappointing - I’ve been wanting to go to this museum for decades - shouldn’t have bothered. Stick to the other museums and galleries. I saw half a dozen works of art here I thought were wonderful, but so much here that was disappointing and did little for me. I enjoy so much of modern art, but much of this was vacuous, pretentious and rather uninspiring.

DIsappointed, even with low expectations. - Mediocre art. Pathetically rude people... Waste of time and money. Should move to the provinces, far away from the nearby com petition of world class museums.
