Great guide/busy museum - The Rijks museum was VERY busy so being part of a small group tour was a great decision. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we wore headsets so we could hear easily without distraction. We were able to skip some big lines because of the guide's access but felt the museum was pretty crowded and sometimes it was hard to see the paintings or spend much time looking at the most popular ones. (Not the guide's fault--she was awesome!) The museum is beautiful and worth the visit but I highly recommend a semi-private tour.

Great way to introduce Amsterdam art scene - This was one of the best semi-private tours we have been on. Anna took the time to explain not only the history of the building but also the history and background of the artists and the paintings. The tour was only 2.5 hrs but we could have spent 5 days with her. A real experience that all should have

Terrific Experience - We did the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum tours. We were locky to have Ewald as the guide to both. He was extremely knowledgeable, supper friendly and accommodating and able to guide us around the many jammed spots in both museums. These weren't about "see or that this masterpiece." Rather they were super enlightening mini lessons on artistic style, the various influences on the srtiats, and in respect to Van Gogh, important information about his life. The were each memorable experiences and worth every dollar.

Well worth it - Vera was an excellent guide with good knowledge and personality. Too bad the museum is so crowded. Wish they controlled the numbers better - seems the Van Goh museum does a better job of this
