Your host, Fusina, will greet you at her residence where you’ll learn to prepare and flip pannekoeken, or pancakes, a popular Dutch dish. You will concoct both a savory and a sweet pancake, entirely from raw materials!

Take pleasure in understanding the methods employed in devising these dishes, along with other customs of Dutch culinary arts. Following this, you’ll share the meal that you had a hand in making alongside Fusina.

Omg Dutch Pancakes 😍 - Fusina is wonderful! The experience was great. It was so nice and warm to be in her lovely kitchen, too. The pancakes turned out very good and I can’t wait to make them back home!

Flippin’ Fantastic - What a wonderful experience - I was celebrating my birthday with my teenage daughter who has learning disability. The host was very understanding even when the first pancake she flipped did a triple twist and ended up on the floor. The video to You’ve been framed will easily cover the costs - well worth the experience next to the canal.

Amazing way to experience Amsterdam - Fantastic experience! Make sure you arrive hungry! We were looking for something unique and we love food—we could not have chosen a better experience. We were a little nervous as we tend to be shy, but Fusina is an amazing hostess and immediately made us feel right at home. We loved seeing her home and the “real” Amsterdam experience. It was so much more than just learning to make Dutch pancakes (but they were so good and so much fun to make!) Fusina is a wealth of information on all things local and had multiple bites for us to try—including herring! Not something I would have ever tried on my own, but I’m glad I did and I did like it. She truly opens her home and shares her experiences and love of food and local Amsterdam with you. Our friends that went home early were very jealous of our experience. I highly recommend and want to go back to do her market tour!
