Memorable walking tour of the Dutch Masters collection in the Rijksmuseum from a thoroughly enjoyable art historian! - Fannie was a knowledgeable and interesting guide who “masterfully” presented the art of the Dutch Masters in a way that made the Rijksmuseum seem to come alive. Her style as a tour guide is fun intimate, and enjoyable. She explained so many truly interesting facts about the time period in Dutch history, the artists, and their subjects, that the Rijksmuseum seemed to come alive for us. Her background as a local art historian was expansive as we explored the architecture and galleries. She was also approachable and encouraged us to ask questions which made our tour of the Rijksmuseum and the art of the Dutch Masters vert memorable. Fannie is a gifted and creative tour guide who knows her stuff!

Fun and knowledgeable - Liz was an amazing guide. She shared interesting stories and fun background info for all the art pieces we were interested in. We spent 2 weeks in Europe and went on many tours and she was THE BEST. Her insights and diverse knowledge, plus her passion for art made the tour really fun and inspiring.

Background and Craft of Paintings: A Tour with a Knowledgable Guide - I loved this tour. Right from the start Liz gave a personal touch by arranging to meet us in person at a cafe. Because of Her wealth of knowledge, historical and about the craft of painting, we got so much more out of looking at the paintings than we would have if we looked at them ourselves! She has a pleasant personality, was willing to share some of her personal background (where she got her degrees), and was willing to answer our numerous questions. I would highly recommend her and your tour agency as well. Other agencies that we dealt with were impersonal and did not offer extras,like the list of recommendations you sent. If we come to Amsterdam again we would like to take even more tours with her!
