Better than expected - We received a letter stating due to over booking, we were given an upgraded tour leaving earlier which included a cheese making farm and a village where there were operating windmills even including a wooden clog making demonstration. Then we went on to Keukenhof Gsrdens for a self-guided tour of their magnificent tulips and hyacinths and jonquils and daffodils. A really wonderful day with our awesome guide Dianna!

Less people would be better - We caught the bus from Rai, which is really easily. Lots of people and easy to find. The gardens are great. It took around 4 hours to walk around everything. There is mixed planting so there is something for a few months. We ate lunch in the cafe. Good food, a nice choice and quality. There is lots of people. i know we were there for the same reason as everyone else and we were then on Easter sunday, though less people would have been better.

Amazing tulips - The Tulip Experience guided tour provided a lot of great information about the history of the tulip and allowed us to walk through many rows of tulips during the first stop. No words can describe the beauty of the Keukenhof Gardens on the second stop. Very fortunate to have been there on a day with great weather with tulips in bloom. Our tour guide and bus driver were great. Provided lots of information, but we also had plenty of time to wander and see the sights. Definitely recommend planning a visit during the 8 weeks that the gardens are open.

Wonderful Tulip Tour - Great tour and guide! It was 40 minutes outside Amsterdam we visited a tulip farm. I came early for the season and they drove to another field to see more varieties of colors when the normal one wasn’t in bloom. After we finished at the tulip farm, we headed to Keukenhof Gardens. Our guide led us around for 30 minutes giving us info about tulips and the history, after, we had 3 hours to walk the gardens. This is where we could find food/drinks for lunch. We left around 3 and arrived back in Amsterdam about 4.

Wonderful Tour - Our guide, Juliette, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The flowers were just beginning to bloom, so we didn't have the full experience. But visiting when we did, we avoided the large crowds. It was truly beautiful and a day I won't forget.

Still good - Gardens were beautiful even though it was off season. Indoor flowers were awesome. I’m sure it’s even better in the summer.

Fascinating varieties of beautiful tulips - Visiting tulip fields, learning the history and innovations in cultivating varieties of tulips was fascinating. Farm had beautiful tulip rows with Holland theme photo areas which was a nice surprise as well as the free hot tea and coffee. The gardens were beautifully landscaped with multitudes of spring flowers and guide pointed out several places of interest including plot with original small tulips that we would have overlooked on our own.

Don’t book with Viator then you might get your outing - Arrived at check in to be told booked trip had been cancelled, this is not the first trip booked via Viator to be cancelled. They did upgrade to a trip we had booked with them two days before paying over £224 for. Our granddaughter was very bored doing the same trip within two days. My advice don’t book with viator if you want your trip to go ahead. VERY disappointed as this was booked for my husbands Christmas present.
