Flowers Galore - A great day trip from Amsterdam. The price includes a ticket into the gardens and a shuttle bus. Definitely worth the price. Having shuttle buses available several times every half hour to take you back allows for you to spend as much time as you want without being too rushed. Traffic was definitely heavy coming from Amsterdam. I would arrive as early as possible, because it gets busy quickly. The flower gardens were unbelievable beautiful, offering picturesque stops at every turn.

Convenient - Easy and convenient. We could have just hopped on the bus and left at our own time. Perfect for those who want to do their own thing.

Gorgeous! Don’t Miss! - This place was absolutely gorgeous with the tulips in bloom. Who knew that there were so many varieties in so many colors…even a green flower! It’s hard to describe how beautiful it is but we thought that it rivaled Buchart Gardens in Victoria,BC. This was definitely at the top of our highlights in the Netherlands, so far. Remember, that we went in April, knowing that the tulips would be in full bloom at that time.

Beauty in flowers - We walked at leisure and took our time to see this wonderful display of beautiful flowers. Money well spent. It is definitely worth going by bus as traffic is quite heavy getting there and back.

Day with the tulips. - We enjoyed our time at Keukenhof and the convenience of being able to leave at whatever time we wanted was an added bonus. This allowed us the time to hire bikes and ride around the tulip farms. Bus drops off and picks up right near the entrance.

Beautiful gardens throughout. - Beautiful gardens although the fields were at the end of their season. I wish we would have gone earlier in the season.

The tulips are even prettier than you imagine. - The location for getting on the bus was a short taxi ride for us from our hotel. It was raining off and on so we didn’t want to walk. They had plenty of instructions/signs where to line up, lots of employees processing everyone. The wait was not too bad, then you walk around the building to where the busses are parked. The drive took between 35-45 minutes. Buss lets you off in the same place you will be picked up, so that is clear. There is a short walk to where you get into the gardens. The Gardens were even better than I had imagined. We loved it all. We walked the whole area, stoping for a hot cup of chocolate at one point, then we had our lunch at their main restaurant. Lunch was pretty pricey, but good. We left right after lunch as it started to rain.

Great contemporary art - So much good stuff to look at. The inside garden area is like a contemporary art museum. Highly recommend.

Approved - Very pretty gardens full of tulips, however, from the photos we thought we were going to see the tulip fields and that was not the case. Otherwise very nice, it is very crowded, bring an umbrella :)

Large Crowds & Few Tulips - We were only able to visit the gardens 3 days before their season ended. That meant that most of the tulips were gone. It was still beautiful and festive but the fact that there were not that many flowers was a let down. The crowd was massive that too. It was hard to get around and that made it even less enjoyable. If you go, don't wait until the end of the tulip season to visit.
