Phenomenal - Phenomenal experience. Lili our graduate student working on her masters from Budapest arrived ahead of time as advertised at the precise location easily identified
So refreshing to meet someone of her generation so engaged with history language and the arts. Her knowledge of WWII the nazi invasions and occupation was inspirational and she articulated impeccably the history of the Jewish hardships and Anne Franks legendary existence She als read passages from her diary at precise locations adding to the charm of the tour.
It was obvious she was passionate about her role in presenting history as it unfolded from preoccupation through liberation.
Tickets provided to tour of house which fast tracked entry. Tour through the home was assisted by electronic device activated in each room providing details of the dwelling. Worth every penny of the tour and house. Highly recommend without reservation. Lili gets 6 out of five stars!

Amazong experience - I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding quality of guidance provided by Noah.
He didn’t just give us basic information but, with empathy and sensitivity, he led my entire family through the emotional journey of this tragic history.
It has been a deeply experience, and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting such a high level of quality and humanity in a touristic tour.

Sensational! I can recommend them to ANYONE! We definitely book a tour again when we come back! - We did the tour as a family of six. Booking and processing were straightforward and all our wishes were fulfilled! Our children 12-18 years and we had great joy! It is an absolute must-do! We got a great overview of the city and its history, exciting stories and insights, wonderful food stops. Everything super personal and easy. Can highly recommend our guide Johanna!
We are already looking forward to our next visit to Amsterdam and will definitely book a tour with Amsterdamliebe again! Thank you all at Amsterdamliebe!

Absolute recommendation - Josh, after interesting information about Amsterdam and the rise of the city, spoke very sensitively about Jewish life in the 1940s and - garnished with passages from the diary - about Anne Frank and her family's life. It was overall a very entertaining and interesting tour that you can only recommend.

Entertainment and history (never forget & ignore) - We did two tours with "Amsterdamliebe".
Both the first booking via GetYourGuide and the second directly with "Amsterdamliebe" was straightforward.
First, a one-hour canal tour with "drink flat"... This one was pretty booked up. Accordingly, it was a bit cramped on the boat. Everything was there for drinks: Soft drinks, beer, even wine. Top. The tour was very entertaining, though less historical than generally informative.
Unfortunately we were not told at the end that there is a discount code for further tours...too bad. For this I would actually want to deduct 1/2 point...but...
Nevertheless, we booked the "Anne Frank Tour" with Stephanie the next day. An absolute hit!
Stephanie accompanied and guided us with empathy and great expertise. You got the feeling she was living for the subject. The two hours went way too fast...
Dear Stephanie: we keep our fingers crossed for your book and the necessary research. Your project gives face and name to unknowns, forgotten.
Of course, all the best for your personal future ;)

Guide No Show - The guide did not show. No notice-nothing! I found a number to call and was told the guide had to cancel. An update would have saved a long walk and afternoon.

Not suitable for families - I am shocked by the “customer service”. We booked a tour as a family with two young children (3 and 5 years old). On the homepage, however, there is no way to consider children, so we assumed that the children are not relevant when buying tickets. On site, one person was too many in the group because a maximum of 15 are allowed. So the information from the office to the tour guide on site via mobile phone. So we couldn't participate as a family because one child is too many.
I thought at that moment, okay, what about the kids who were already present with their families? If we had come before them, they would have been too much or how? We couldn't leave the children alone so my husband didn't participate in the tour and stayed with the children. I went alone even though we paid for two tickets. Afterwards, I wrote to “customer service” and explained the situation. How should children be taken into account if the website does not give it away was my question and whether we would get the ticket refunded for my husband as he could not attend. Unfortunately, we did not receive any understanding of the situation, it would be our responsibility to inquire or register the children beforehand via e-mail. Like being a Martian bringing a giraffe to the tour, a total rarity? The reaction shocked me, not at all family friendly, on “getyourguide” you can also simply state the age of the children and know where you are without having to write emails back and forth. It's a shame.
