Highlights
  • Muntplein 12 - While enjoying a nice cup of coffee, tea or lemonade you will get a brief introduction about the history of Delft blue pottery. After the instructions you will quickly get to work with your own tile. There will always be a professional painter who will give you the right tips for a good result.

When the tile is ready, we will continue to glaze it and fire it. This is also the reason that you can pick up the tile about 14 days later at one of our branches in Delft, Amsterdam or Putten. Of course we can also send the tiles (for a small fee).

We give workshops to small groups of 2 to 15 people. If you want to follow a workshop on a different day or time, please contact us. We are happy to discuss the options with you.

Sisters 2024 - Although my sister is the artist in the family, I found the class a lot of fun and easy. The shop downstairs was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The Best Way to Bring Home a Delftware Souvenir - This was a really fun few hours, not only learning the painting techniques and choosing a template, but it was amazing to see the results after firing. Very recommended if you like drawing/painting, but any artistic ability isn't needed - it turns out gorgeous no matter what.

How cool to arrive home to my tile! - Wow! I am not remotely an artist and could barely trace lines but my tile is an awesome souvenir of my trip to Amsterdam. This is one of the best activities I have ever participated in. It’s worth the money.

So much fun! - This was a very fun experience. Barbara was a great teacher and made the class comfortable with the process and helped and gave advice along the way. Because of the firing process I have to wait a couple of weeks to have the tile shipped to me but I can’t wait to see the end result.

An afternoon to remember! - Absolutely lovely! Barbara explain to us how the painting works, let us try shades in a sample tile and tgen we choose oyr own tile! A delighful experience! Mind that the tiles need to go to the oven to turn into blue, so you eill have yoyrs back in a couple of days.

Unique experience in Amsterdam! - This was such a fun and unique experience for the classic Delft Pottery of Amsterdam. Small setting and the teacher showed us the steps and process between hand painting and factory made. What’s interesting is it doesn’t turn blue till it’s fired. A must do for a quiet afternoon.

U.S. Ceramacist & husband loved the Delft tile painting experience! - We participated in the "paint your own Delft tile" class. I am a ceramicist in the U.S. and wanted to learn more about the centuries old technique of painting with Delft Blauw. Taking the class was very rewarding and we had a joyful time speaking with the instructor. We can't wait to receive the fired tiles in the mail.
