Immerse yourself in the ancient craft of Delft blue tile painting at a central Amsterdam workshop. Learn the history, choose a pattern, and create your own unique design!
- Muntplein 12 - While enjoying a nice cup of coffee, tea or lemonade you will get a brief introduction about the history of Delft blue pottery. After the instructions you will quickly get to work with your own tile. There will always be a professional painter who will give you the right tips for a good result.
When the tile is ready, we will continue to glaze it and fire it. This is also the reason that you can pick up the tile about 14 days later at one of our branches in Delft, Amsterdam or Putten. Of course we can also send the tiles (for a small fee).
We give workshops to small groups of 2 to 15 people. If you want to follow a workshop on a different day or time, please contact us. We are happy to discuss the options with you.
Workshops are possible on Wednesday through Sunday at 2.30 p.m.

Situated at an exclusive site in the heart of Amsterdam, you now have the opportunity to paint your own Delft blue tile! With the supervision of a seasoned artist, you’ll engage with this traditional craft. A brief introductory session will enlighten you with the background of Delft blue pottery. Following this, it’s your turn to get to work! You have the freedom to select from pre-existing patterns or invent your own unique design!
