Beautiful Historic Town - We traveled by bus from Amsterdam to Bruges and while the bus ride was long, it was nice to see the countryside and take a nap on the way back to Amsterdam after a very full day in Bruges. We had as terrific guide in Bruges who was very proud of this hometown. He made the day fun and interesting, keeping the pace just right for learning and picture taking. After his guided tour we enjoyed free time in the central square and meal of Flemish Stew and Belgian waffles. It is definitely a tourist town, but the local people were very friendly, and the setting was beautiful. I would definitely recommend spending a day there.

Great excursion to Bruges! - My friends and I really enjoyed this excursion to Bruges! We booked the English tour and we traveled from Amsterdam to Bruges together with the Spanish-language tour. Fani was an excellent guide on the bus and was very helpful and open to requests and questions. The bus was comfortable, which is an important since we were on the bus for about 6 hours!
When we arrived in Bruges, we were connected with our English-language guide who was phenomenal. She was very familiar with Bruges and its history, culture, and intricacies.

A wonderful day trip! - We had a truly wonderful day trip to Bruges. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience — our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Bruges is an absolutely beautiful city, and the tour was very well-organised. The price was also very reasonable for what was included. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Excellent experience, highly recommended - My family and I took a private tour of the beautiful city of Bruges, and I want to congratulate them for the service. I also want to congratulate our guide, Adrian, who arrived on time. He was very friendly and gave us a very informative tour of Bruges. Not only that, but he also had special empathy for my mother, who has trouble walking long distances. Thanks to Adrian, she was able to see the sights. We were very happy and grateful for the tour. If we were to return, we would have no hesitation in choosing them again.

A beautiful city - We had a great trip to Bruges. The city is beautiful and the old buildings are so great and a site to see. We learned so much from the tour and enjoyed some free time to walk around to see the sights. We toured the beautiful cathedral which was worth the cost to see the inside. I recommend the tour to see this beautiful city.

Wonderful Bruges - Bruges is fantastic. This trip is s long time in a bus, about 3.5 each direction from Amsterdam, but we still had five hours in Bruges.
The tour provider is a Spanish company, but if you buy the English tour, your guide will speak in both languages. When we got to Bruges, the groups separated for a two hour tour with separate guides.
Bruges is not to be missed! Buildings from the 13th century, wonderful food and chocolate, and so much to see and learn. If you love history, a guide is well worth it.
The tour company is not the most organized, but everything went fine and our driver and guide were great.

Nice city, but tour itself has pros and cons. - It was a nice tour, Bruges is a beautiful city, so it is definitely worth visiting the city. You will enter a somewhat more old-fashioned city with beautiful gothic and horse and cart. A must is the 35-minute boat trip.
The English guide was top notch, who did well.
Two things are less about the tour:
1. The journey time - you will be on the road for about 3.5 hours with a stopover for a pee break. This is very long, which is normal, but this also ensures that you have to leave Bruges on time. We arrived around 12.30 pm and had to be back at the bus around 5.15 pm. If you eat for an hour, have the short tour for an hour, you don't have much time to see much of Bruges. So this trip is perfect if you want to go to Bruges for a short time, otherwise I think you better go on your own, although the tour guide does indicate what the beautiful places and secret things in Bruges are of course, which you will less likely know on your own.
2. The guide on the bus. I know a little Spanish, so I could still follow some. The guide on the bus to Bruges was a Spanish-speaking woman, so sometimes her English is not very clear through the microphone. This is a shame, because then you just miss the most important things of what is said. And some of the things that were said in Spanish were not translated into English. This is not a big deal, but it is a bit of a shame. You notice that it is more of a tour for Spanish speakers, but also fine for English speakers.
Because of these two points I give 4 stars, if 3.5 could I would have. But Bruges is definitely recommended!

Disappointing Experience with the Tour Logistics, but Bruges Was Absolutely Worth It - We took this day trip from Amsterdam to Bruges, and while the city itself was stunning and well worth visiting, the tour experience left much to be desired.
The first major issue was the language arrangement. Although I specifically booked an English-language tour, we were combined with a larger Spanish-speaking group. This meant the guide had to repeat everything twice—once in English, once in Spanish—which made it hard to stay engaged and often resulted in long stretches of Spanish commentary that many of us couldn’t understand. It became mentally exhausting, and the constant switch in languages diminished the overall experience.
Additionally, the onboard bathroom was out of order, yet the company policy limited bathroom breaks to one stop each way. After more than 2.5 hours on the road, the only stop was at a McDonald's inside a mall, which led to a rather undignified rush to the restroom—especially difficult for the older passengers on board.
To make matters worse, this trip took place on one of the hottest days of summer. The bus’s air conditioning was clearly struggling and barely kept the interior at 31°C (about 88°F), making the ride uncomfortable and at times unbearable.
That said, I want to acknowledge the efforts of our guide, Mike was our guide once we arrived to bruge , he was very knowledgeable, details oriended and answered all our questions,. Silvia was kind, knowledgeable, and did her best to make the trip enjoyable under challenging circumstances. The driver also showed concern and explained that he would check with the company about making additional stops in the future, given the broken restroom.
Bruges itself was absolutely beautiful—a magical, walkable city full of charm, history, and incredible scenery. Despite the transportation issues, I don’t regret visiting. I would absolutely return to Bruges, but next time, I’ll choose a different tour company that offers better planning and more comfort, especially for long rides.
