Very thought provoking - Very educational… thought provoking… looking at the past and understanding how the Nazis infiltrated… produced propaganda so the Jews weren’t aware of the dire consequences… and then turning Jew on Jew through the Council and informers. Aaron was very knowledgeable and easy to engage. A lot to learn! I highly recommend!

Excellent jewish quarter walking tour with Aaron - We couldn't get into the Anne Frank house as we didn't book the minute the bookings opened a few months ago, something to come back for. However we are very glad we did this walking tour. Aaron, our guide was very good, informative and engaging and brought that period to life. Our trip was supposed to be 2 hours but he spent longer with us and was very generous with his time. We know a fair bit about the very sad history here but we still learnt more and to see the actual buildings where the Jewish council worked from, where the people were processed to go to Auschwitz, and other death camps not knowing what was facing them brought it home to us how real it was and how easily it could happen again if a dictatorship is ever allowed again. The Holocaust memorial, bricks in walls arranged in such a way that they read "remember' in Hebrew from above was very simple and very moving. The stumbling blocks and the shadow wall in front of the houses where Jewish families lived before being murdered was very touching. Aaron did a great job of putting everything in context and discussed the role of the resistance and collaborators. Highly recommend doing this tour and doing with Aaron.

Excellent guide for walking tour of the Jewish Quarter Amsterdam - Jonas was our guide and he presented an excellent overview of the historical significance of what we were seeing. This was interspersed with pictures and anecdotes relevant to the topic of the tour. He actually presented the best excursion that we attended during our trip to Europe.

Not to be missed! - The tour was very moving. We have heard the heartbreaking stories before of the Jews who lost their lives in the holocaust but seeing where they lived and reading their names and ages and their stories made it so personal and profound.. Our tour guide, Andrea, was great. We recommend you don’t miss this tour.
