Guided through the Quarter by a Professional - The history was presented in a caring and sensitive manner. Given the atrocities that befell the Jewish people living in Amsterdam (and throughout Europe) the compassion and empathy that our guide demonstrated showed that he had a deep understanding of his subject matter.

A Moving, Memorable Experience - Pedro was a terrific guide, knowledgeable, passionate and helpful. He gave us a wonderful insight into the history of Jewish Amsterdam, particularly the pain of the Holocaust and the attitudes of Dutch society, both positive and negative. We will long remember this experience.

Great tour for history/WW2 fans - This is a great tour, I highly recommend. The guide was very knowledgeable and took time to answer everyone's questions. Walking through the Holocaust Memorial and seeing so many historic landmarks was very moving and a reminder of a very painful period that we must not forget.

Enriching Amsterdam: Jewish Quarter Walking Tour - We visited Amsterdam as part of the official guided tour of several European countries. Had we not explored Jewish Quarter Walking Tour with James we would have certainly missed at least 85 % of the mind blowing information regarding both the accomplishment of the Jewish community of the Amsterdam and an immense tragedy that followed during Nazi occupation. Although the main subject of this tour is seriously sobering considering what it actually deals with, the overall experience at the end has been quite enlightening and purifying. And this is without even mentioning the fact of Jewish Quarter representing the architectural heart of Amsterdam. In summary: the guided tour of Jewish Quarter most certainly tremendously enriched our experience of Amsterdam. Special thanks goes to James for his patience in giving us some extra time to join this incredibly insightful tour!

Could Not Find! - Traveled to Amsterdam from Belgium by train on day of tour. We arrived 5 minutes before tour time and could not find place to meet. Tried to contact tour operator and could not get through. We asked other operators in the area and no one knew this tour group. We missed the tour and we contacted Viator for refund. Still waiting to see confirmation of refund from Viator. We were very disappointed!
