Additional Information

We shall embark on a journey walking along the city’s canals, touring through its ancient neighborhoods, past significant landmarks, and colourful stilt houses constructed entirely on water. We’ll get to glimpse the world’s slenderest dwelling and the workspace of the wealthiest corporation ever formed, learn about the boathouse life, and why Amsterdam is hailed as the bicycle capital. We’ll uncover the mysteries behind Rembrandt’s artwork, explore the ancient and enigmatic Bejinhof courtyard, stroll through the square that witnessed the city’s history unfold, and view the most prominent observation point in the country. Then, we’ll hop in a comfy vehicle and head to Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum and one of the most scenic spots in the kingdom. Finally, in the idyllic village of Volendam, we’ll have a taste of authentic Matjies herring and sample more than 20 varieties of Dutch cheese!
