Additional Information

Leave the urban heart close to Central Station and shift towards the Waterland District, located just a quarter hour north of Amsterdam’s main area. While on comfortable bicycles, you’ll get to appreciate a landscape that’s as flat as a pancake, featuring serene streams, wooden homes, and of course, a windmill.

With the company of a seasoned tour guide, you’ll journey through scenic towns and villages, cycling along dikes and canals that lend the Waterland District its moniker. This land, rescued from the sea through Dutch ingenuity, is as brimming with history as it is with water.

Glorious - Spectacular…Our guide stopped several times to tell us about the history and culture of where we were riding. He also rode at a speed comfortable for a group of a range of ages. What a gorgeous rural route, passing fields of cows, cottages, green fields, and bodies of water. We have had a wonderful week in Amsterdam, and this was certainly a highlight for the last day of our visit.

Nice bike tour - It was a nice trip. I had contact with the organization several times in advance and the questions and requests were handled promptly. We were in a group with various nationalities, so explanations were in English, but that was no problem for us. Nice tour.
