Engage in festive celebrations in Amsterdam with one of our hosts, where the holiday cheer begins in November with the arrival of Sinterklaas. If you’re not sure what that is, your host can help explain! The city is adorned with twinkling lights, the canals illuminated by the awe-inspiring light sculptures of the Amsterdam Light Festival, and ice-rinks situated throughout the city. From the vibrant lights of the festival to Christmas markets that offer a wide array of gifts and ornaments, the Christmas spirit is alive and thriving in Amsterdam!

Following your booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire asking about your interests and personality within 24 hours. Using your answers, we’ll pair you with a host who shares your interests. Your host will reach out to you to propose an itinerary to show you what makes the city special. You’ll also arrange a meeting time and location with your host. The itinerary is flexible, allowing you to make adjustments during the experience if you wish.
