Golden temple - I can not describe the emotions felt at the temple. It is a sight for both your eyes and soul. We had a guide who told us the story of the temple as well as the lake surrounding the temple. We attend the darshan and had food. The service provided by the voluntaries at the temple is without any ego.

Meaningful and relaxed.. - We booked the evening slot just before sunset and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Got to see the Golden Temple in both daylight and under the night lights – absolutely magical. The whole place had such a calming vibe. Our guide, Ronit, was amazing. Young, super friendly, and full of fresh views on the culture and religion. He really took the time to understand what we were interested in and paced the tour slowly so we could soak it all in. One of the highlights was the meditation point he took us to – we just sat there quietly and felt completely at peace. We also got a behind-the-scenes look at the temple kitchen, which was fascinating. Just a heads-up: the floors there can be a bit wet, but the rest of the temple was spotless. Our guide even helped us plan a visit to the Wagah Border the next day, which was so thoughtful. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and we truly enjoyed his company. Highly recommend this tour if you want something meaningful and relaxed.

words can hardly describe. - Temple looks outstanding and shimmers at night . One of the highlights was participating in the Langar—the community kitchen that serves free meals to thousands daily. Sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers, sharing a simple yet delicious meal, was a powerful reminder of equality and compassion. it’s a journey into humility, harmony, and humanity

Lesson in humility - It was worth visiting the temple at the day time. Our children were fascinated by the scale of the kitchen serving thousands in a day. Langar meal itself was divine, made with devotion. We enjoyed cultural richness and lesson in humility. The atmosphere wrapped in a peace and it was a journey into grace gratitude. We really wish to visit the main shrine but it was overcrowded that day. But our overall experience was once in a lifetime.

Beautiful at night - We took a slow, peaceful night tour of the Golden Temple and loved every moment. The temple looks beautiful glowing at night, and the calm water around it makes the view amazing. Our guide was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed a visit to the kitchen where hundreds of volunteers work together to prepare food for visitors. The roti-making area was so interesting, and with the guide’s help, we even got to help out—such a nice experience! The guide also showed us a special viewpoint behind the towers. This spot is a must-see, especially at night. It felt very peaceful and spiritual. The whole tour was about an hour long. We felt very humble and touched by everything we saw. If you book a night tour, be sure to visit that special viewpoint—it’s truly unforgettable.

warmth of the people. - The Golden Temple night tour was a truly unforgettable experience! 🌟 As the sun set, the temple's golden hue seemed to glow with an otherworldly light, creating a breathtaking contrast against the night sky. What struck me most, however, was the composure and warmth of the people. Despite the crowds, everyone seemed to embody a sense of peace and tranquility. The langar experience was humbling – witnessing the selfless service of volunteers, preparing and serving food to thousands with such love and dedication. And the taste of the food? Divine! 🍴 The simplicity and humility of the langar's offerings only added to their flavor. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking spiritual solace and a deeper understanding of Sikhism's values. 🌟❤️ Five stars for an experience that will stay with me forever

Don’t waste your money! Just do some research in advance. - I don’t normally leave reviews but this experience was so poor, I feel compelled to warn others. My first mistake was assuming that, given the price, the tour included access to the actual Temple itself. It did not. Surprisingly, our guide was Hindu rather than Sikh, which we wouldn’t have minded at all if his knowledge was at least up to scratch. Quite apart from the fact that his knowledge was limited, to say the least, what he did know was factually incorrect. He in no way and enriched our experience, didn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know , and spent most of the tour trying to persuade us to enlist his services the following day when we planned to visit the Partition Museum. He then went on to start messaging me later that evening, again pressing us to use his services the following day. We effectively just paid someone to walk around with us. Total disappointment and complete waste of money.
