- The Citadel - The Citadel has a long history of occupation by many great civilizations.Evidence of inhabitance since the Neolithic period has been found and the hill was fortified during the Bronze Age (1800 BCE). The hill became the capital of the Kingdom of Ammon sometime after 1200 BCE. It later came under the sway of empires such as the Neo-Assyrian Empire (8th century BCE), Neo-Babylonian Empire (6th century BC), the Ptolemies, the Seleucids (3rd century BCE), Romans (1st century BCE), Byzantines (3rd century CE) and the Umayyads (7th century CE).[2] After the Umayyads, came a period of decline and for much of the time until 1878 as the former city became an abandoned pile of ruins only sporadically used by Bedouins and seasonal farmers.Despite this gap, the Citadel of Amman is considered to be among the world’s oldest continuously inhabited places

Amazing tour of Amman and historical sights. - Amazing tour around Amman with excellent stops to take beautiful photos. All the historical sights were amazing to see. My driver Emad was excellent. Very good to talk to, had a lot of knowledge and was also a funny person to conversate with and also introduced me to delusions food that left me very satisfied that I chose this tour.

Awesome Experience - We had an awesome experience. Mustafa, our guide is one of the friendliest and most hospitable people that we met in Jordan. He knows the land (and everybody) like the back of his hand. We highly recommend that you book this tour and be sure to ask for Mustafa if you want to really enjoy your trip to Jordan. Mustafa is hands down the best guide in Jordan.

A day trip to remember! - Our guide Ahmad was amazing, courteous, knowledgeable and on time.
Jerash is definitely worth the detour. We loved his suggestions and everything we did during the day. Our family of 3 would recommend (mother, son & daughter)! Thanks Ahmad!
