Highlights
  • Jerash Ruins - Jerash (or Gerasa) is an ancient city in Jordan located 48km (30 miles) north of the capital, Amman (map). Famous as being one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East, Jerash is one of the top attractions in Jordan (alongside Petra) and is certainly a must-visit.
  • Ajloun Castle - There are not many things to do in Ajloun. The list of places to visit in Ajloun boils down to just 3 items on the itinerary. You can visit the Ajloun Castle and Tell Mar Elias Ruins among historical tourist places in Ajloun. And you have the Ajloun Forest Reserve if you are interested in hiking, camping, safari among other things to do in Ajloun. Ajloun Castle is the center around which the settlement of Ajloun was built.
  • Umm Qays - Entering Umm Qais from the south, the first structure of interest is the well-restored and brooding West Theatre. Constructed from black basalt, it once seated about 3000 people. This is a place to sing or declaim a soliloquy

Very good - It was a good experience, Safwat, the driver was really helpful. We have a good conversations between the sites and he has some advice at each site and overall for Jordan for the best experience. I recommend this tour, for one day it’s perfect.

Jordan is not only Petra - It is a tour that allows you to visit places that on your own become difficult to visit unless you rent a car, it is very worth taking it to optimize time since they are long distances. Furthermore, we were lucky to have Ramzi take us, he always took care of every detail so that the experience was pleasant and he is a very good person, I wish you could be with him

Perfect Jerash Tour! Highly Recommended! - We did a 5-hour Jerash-only tour, and Emad picked us up from our apartment. Everything was very well coordinated from the pickup to the drop-off. Emad was really kind and professional, and it was easy to communicate with him. During the tour, he guided us to interesting places that we hadn’t noticed or seen from outside the car ourselves. He kept us constantly engaged throughout the whole tour, and it was definitely a memorable experience. The car was really clean and had a water bottle for us. Highly recommended tour!

Flying solo - I had a great time visiting key ancient sites. I highly recommend the driver, Emad, an enthusiastic local who negotiated the busy roads with skill. He was informative and thoughtful during the drive, and attentive to the needs of the passenger.

Highly recommend - We had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Khalil. He looked after us from start to finish ensuring we got to all the planned visits and giving us as much time as we needed. Departing from Amman, our first stop was to Umm Qais (stopping for a nice cardamom coffee en route), a Roman ruin in the picturesque hills with fabulous views. Following our visit to Ajloun, again with fabulous views from the 12th century castle, Khalil took us to a nice restaurant for lunch before finishing our day at the larger Roman site of Jerash. A nice friendly driver who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Private group trip to Jerash - Excellent trip. We very much enjoyed the day, we were taken the scenic route with views across the valley and the guide/driver was really informative. All sites very amazing, could have happily spent more time at each

Great day trip to three northern Jordan archeological sites - We had a wonderful day with Alamal Tours. Our driver, Omar, was professional, good-humored, considerate, and a great driver. We were able to spend as long as we desired at each stop. In retrospect, it might be better to see Jerash first rather than last as the site closes by 5 PM in the winter. Highly recommended!
