  • Mondriaanhuis - The birthplace of Mondriaan (the painter) and school building of his father. Nowadays there is the Mondriaan museum in the building.
  • Muurhuizen - Amersfoort had city walls. Nowadays they are used as living houses. Very interesting to see the old architecture of the walls still present in the houses facade.

  • Hof - A nice square with many bars and restaurants. Also an old well.
  • Museum Flehite - Beautiful building that is also a museum of modern art and cultural history.
  • Koppelpoort - The Koppelpoort is a city gate in Amersfoort. It is a combination of a land and water gate. The Koppelpoort could be closed by means of a double treadmill. This is still functioning.
  • Stadhuis Amersfoort - City hall of Amersfoort. A square with lot of art and a few references to Mondriaan can be found here
  • Onze-Lieve-Vrouwetoren - The Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren is a church tower in Amersfoort. The late Gothic building is 98.33 meters high and rises high above the city center. This makes it one of the most eye-catching monuments in the city and is the third highest church tower in the Netherlands. The tower is nicknamed “Lange Jan”.

Beautiful Amersfoort. - The city walk was great: past beautiful old buildings, canals and the puzzles were based on Mondriaan, the painter, born in Amersfoort. The sound of the escape story was difficult to hear in the hustle and bustle of the city, so earphones are a must.

Nice tour! - Nice tour! Where you go to places where you normally wouldn't go so quickly. We would like to try another one, but in a different place, for example Utrecht.
