Wonderful Pompeii Tour - Wonderful tour from Amalfi! Comfortable bus ride to Pompeii, great informational tour, and delicious lunch. We went with children and they enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth the trip. - Our guide was extremely welcoming, informative and friendly. Sharing lots of stories and information about Pompei keeping us thoroughly engaged. Little inclusions such timings of activities, toilet breaks, if we get separated from the group given the expansive location etc were all very helpful. This day trip offers great value and we would definitely recommend to others.

Pompeii from Amalfi - Well organised tour. Pick up was easy and right on time. Our guide was affable and knowledgeable and navigated us through the vast exhibits of the city of Pompeii. Our bus driver managed to keep us safe on the winding narrow roads and we were very comfortable in our journey.

Fantastic! Highly recommend! - Our tour guide Alessandra was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and has been doing tours for around 30 years. She gave us a history of Pompeii and interesting facts on the way to Pompeii, which was unexpected, but great! Our bus driver Claudio was a great driver and made us feel safe. They arrived on time for pick up. Drop off was delayed due to bad Amalfi traffic, can't be helped. This is something to take into account, no matter where you are travelling in Amalfi. We skipped the line into the Pompeii archaeological site. The tour guide had an arrangement with a shop outside to use toilets for free, which was nice. She took us to a lot of the major sites and allowed time for photos. We were slightly delayed, due to a line up to get into one of the baths, as it was the only one open that day. We also passed through the artifact museum at the end, which was very interesting! We had lunch at the place which was recommended by the tour company, the food was tasty and good value for money. They catered for me being gluten and dairy free. All in all, it was a fantastic tour, it was nice being picked up from Amalfi, worth the money compared to catching public transport! Alessandra was a wonderful tour guide. Easy to understand and our ear phones worked well. Thank you!!

Excellent day trip with an excellent guide! - Fantastic trip. As a family of four we did the Pompeii and Vesuvius trip from Maiori and really enjoyed it. Alessandra was an excellent guide - very friendly and engaging and extremely knowledgeable about both sites and the region. Pompeii is an extraordinary place and the views from Mt.Vesuvius were impressive. Hats off also to our bus driver Carmine, who was a master at handling the narrow roads on the Amalfi Coast and up Vesuvius. I’ll definitely be recommending this tour to friends.

Pompeii the Great - Excellent tour guide. Driver was great. Restaurant after the tour was also very good. No complaints and I would recommend this tour.

Pompeii tour from Maiori. - Decent tour. Bus was clean and on time. Time in Pompeii is limited and the guide was not very engaging or insightful with content about the city. Definitely could use more time to explore.

Heartless Tour Guide - We were probably the two oldest couples in our “small group”. Our guide Lucia seemed not to notice or care that two of us needed walking sticks to get around. Pompeii is a difficult walking tour but Lucia made no concessions for our lack of speed. At one point when my husband felt faint, we asked her if we could leave the tour. Her reply was that it was too complicated for us to manage and we had to stay on the tour for another 15 minutes of walking on a very hot day before she would point us in the right direction. Almost everyone in our tour was assisting my husband to navigate the steps and cobble stones. Lucia could not be bothered. I can’t say anything about the tour itself because I was so focused on getting my husband through it. At one point Lucia said “the tour is for everyone” meaning she wouldn’t slow down for anyone.

Cancelled our Tour at the Very Last Minute! - Tour Operator cancelled our trip the morning of! Discovered it while waiting at the pick-up point. Thankfully we had a wonderful concierge at our hotel who was able to scramble and find us a private car to Pompeii, as that was the only day we could fit it in. In their favor was that we did receive a full refund without hassle.
