- Monastery Sevanavank - Drive to Sevan Lake. Visiting Sevanavank. The monastery is made up of two churches dating back to the 9th century. The monastery is located on the peninsula of Lake Sevan which was an island. From the peninsula, there is a beautiful view of Lake Sevan, which is the jewel of Armenia and the second highest freshwater lake in the world. It is situated at 2000m above sea level and is surrounded by a mountain range. Sevan occupies 5% of the surface area of Armenia.

Haghartsin Monastery - Moving to the North, passing through the tunnel you will appear in a quite different landscape, reaching Dilijan, one of the best resort cities in Armenia. The spa town is located in natural and evergreen forests, surrounded by mountains and meadows.
