Best Birthday Party ever 🤩 - I booked this experience as a birthday party not knowing I had hit Jackpot. We got the chance to visit de caves of Joao de Arens on a double kayak and enjoyed a beautiful boat trip through the alvor coast. As soon as Fabio realized this was part of my bright day plans, hemade sure I was ok with all the details of the trip and kept in communication with me to make sure the weather and ocean would cooperate with our plans. He also made me super comfortable to have fun and enjoy the experience with my friends, while making sure everyone was safe in the ocean. Fabio and Alex made this whole morning better that I could have imagined or ask for and I am forever grateful to these two for turning my birthday into a memorable and unique experience. The wooden boat is a gorgeous piece of history that has been saved and restored by Fabio who’s always loved the ocean arts. Since he is a local he also told us a lot about the algarvian history while passing by the beautiful caves that mark the coast for its uniqueness. It is truly a 2 in 1 experience. I can’t recommend this trip enough and I am forever grateful to both Fabio and Alex for helping me throw the best birthday party ever. Can’t wait to do this again.

Great value and great experience - Really great tour, Fabio and Alex are both very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The views the whole way to the caves are lovely and once you get into the kayaks and start exploring you get to see some really great locations. Would highly recommend this tour as it is great value for money.

Great Day on the Ocean Waves - The trip out to the kayaking cove was terrific! Fabio and Alex are not only very professional and skillful boat operators, but very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides as well. (And kayaking instructors!) The boat itself reminded me very much of wooden passenger boats of Newfoundland, and I had a long conversation with the operators about types of boats, construction techniques and maintenance issues. I expect to go again next year!

Fabio and Alex provide fabulous Wooden Boat Kayak experience - We were amazed at the organization that Fabio and Alex sustained for all participants during he trip. Safety was #1, and demonstrations on proper kayak usage and skill techniques were provided. Lots of opportunities for pictures and relaxation on the trip from the harbor out to the kayaking site. Local wildlife and geology was documented along the way. Of course, the highlight was entering the caves by kayak. Fabio counted the waves to be sure we had a safe and accurate entrance and exit. Drinks available (at your cost) if you wished as we cruised back to the harbor. Would highly recommend for a quieter, more relaxed and less hectic coastal kayaking experience.

Wooden boat ride and kayak - Fabio and Alex are a very competent and professional . Saftey and customer service are top notch. When going into the caves Fabio was right in chest deep water pulling us in, Their knowledge of the area was great and well appreciated.

A memory to cherish, Boat and Kayak Adventure! - Such an amazing adventure, thank you to Alex and Fabio, an excellent crew. We were visiting from California. We met fellow ship-mates from Norway and France. I highly recommend this tour. My husband and I feel this is one of our favorite highlights from our Southern Portugal visit. Alex provided very interesting and informative facts about Alvor and the area. We really enjoyed our trip. Kayaking and discovering caves in a unique and uncrowded area, it was so much fun. A memorable experience to be aboard such a unique wooden boat. Thank you again!

Best coastal tour and most memorable ✨️ - Highly recommended. One of the most beautiful coastal tours I've done. Frontino is a beautifully but unique boat that I had the pleasure to board. The tour guides, Fabio and Alex were incredible and made the trip one to remember. Kayaking was extremely fun, we also stopped at a private beach and got told some history about the caves from the very knowledgeable Fabio. Thank you, to two brilliant tour guides that made our trip memorable and different to others.
