Passadicos do Paiva - Walk along the Paiva Walkways, stop at scenic viewpoints to snap photos. See the famous zig-zag staircases, riparian forests, waterfalls, and cliffs of the gorge. Halfway through, take a break at Vau River Beach and restore your energy with some traditional snacks, juice, and fresh fruits.
On hot days, take a dip in the river. From here to the end of the trail, get closer to the river. Feel the strength of the rapids through their roaring sounds. After the hike, be driven to the mountain area of Arouca. - Arouca Geopark - The Arouca Geopark, it’s a classified territory recognized by UNESCO from 2009, that gathers 41 Geosites within an area of 328 square kilometers. It defines Arouca as a territory with a special Geological Heritage, where you can find phenomena such as “Birthing Stones” and “Giant Trilobite Fossils” that are unique on the world and others like “Frecha da Mizarela”, the highest waterfall in mainland Portugal, the “Corn Bread Stones” or the “Union Stones”, and some more amazing attractions!

Start your tour in Alvarenga, where you’ll meet your guide, then, you’ll start the hike through old village paths, towards the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge.
Prepare for the most exciting 516 meters of your life on the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, one of the longest suspension pedestrian bridges in the world. Be suspended 175 meters above Paiva River and Aguieiras Waterfall.
Along the Paiva Walkways, stop at scenic viewpoints to snap photos. See the famous zig-zag staircases, riparian forests, waterfalls, and cliffs of the gorge. Halfway through, take a break at Vau River Beach and restore your energy with some traditional snacks, juice, and fresh fruits.
Finally, treat yourself to a Board of Typical Portuguese Charcuterie and Cheese (or only Cheese, if you prefer) and a drink. Then you can choose between Arouquesa Steak Sandwish or Arouquesa Beef Hamburger, Veggie Burger or Tuna Sandwich, all accompanied by crispy french fries (included in the option “With Lunch”).

516 meters of adrenaline surrounded by beautiful nature 🏞️ - It was amazing to see the suspension bridge live and to cross it. The walk afterwards had its charm and our guide, João, gave us a lot of information. It was very interesting to learn more about the suspension bridge and the surroundings/nature. The way she guided us through the tour was great. Thank you for this experience and for having such a great, loving and friendly guide 😊

Good Experience and Good Guide - The hike was a great experience. Inês was a good guide. Just Come Adventures was on time and professional. One bit of advice - the directions to the meeting place could be clearer and more detailed. Our GPS took us straight to the bridge, rather than the meeting point; however, Inês was able to find us and we continued the hike with the group. She was very knowledgeable and made the walk fun. Just Come was kind to transport us back to our car, even though we had not found the correct meeting point. All in all, a very enjoyable experience , and it was worthwhile to have a guide, although the hike can be done without one, if one can figure it out. It was a fair price for a guide, admission, water, and lunch. We recommend Just Come Adventures. The area itself is incredibly beautiful.

Highly recommended excursion! - Ines and Joao were very punctual and made the experience very enjoyable! They were very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the bridge and its construction as well as history, geology, and horticulture of the area. João also had a camera and took pictures along the way, which were later emailed to us. At the end of the hike Pedro was waiting to drive us back to the meeting point. Highly recommend!

Lifetime experience - This trip was amazing, very professional, our guide Pedro had so much patience.
No question was to much. I learnt a lot from the fauna and flora. As well from Portugal. Also the pictures are wonderful.
You will leave this tour with such a good and warm feeling. Hope to do more tours with "just come".

Highlight of our 10 day Portugal Trip - I live in a very high end, tourist destination and own a tour company. I have very high expectations in terms of customer service and the quality of experiences when I travel. Pedro and Just Come Adventures provided an outstanding experience on our Paiva Walkway Tour. You can tell he "reads" a group well and tailors the experience to the people he is with that day. This is not a "tour", but more of a walk with a friend who grew up in the area and has a deep passion for his work and his country. I traveled with a friend, but I am anxious to bring my family back and spend 3 or 4 days with Just Come, trying all of their adventures. They picked us up in Porto, so be sure to get out of the city and enjoy the natural landscape of Portugal.

Excellent service and wonderful experience - The entire team of Just Come was very professional, nice and accommodating. My wife has some physical limitations due to her health so we opted for an exclusive tour just for the 2 of us. Pedro created a personalized experience for 2 days, that included the Passadiços, Freita & Drave, as well as a highly recommended Stand Up Paddle experience in an extremely beautiful and lush river, that made us feel at ease and ready for anything. We were therefore able to experience the wonderful scenery completely relaxed. 10/10
