Great family fun filled day - 3 day family break, having taken our 2 grandchildren, now aged 6 and 10, 2 years ago, they always wanted to come back. This time we brought their parents too. It was great to see them all having fun together. However, this time, though we enjoyed having fun with them, especially in the outdoor pools and slides, and ‘bucket ding ding’ soakings, us grandparents were able to take our foot off the accelerator a little and enjoy a coffee whilst watching them. Great family fun filled day.

Olivia - Olivia …. At the ticket desk at the water park . She is undoubtedly one of the best members of staff in the hotel . Nothing was too much trouble for her .. we were a family of 8 with teenage girls , a 3 , 5 and 9 year old . She arranged everything for us , showing me the best deals , giving me 20 p’s for the lockers and giving the children , stickers, badges .. etc etc . She made a stressful situation , as it was absolutely packed , enjoyable . We’ve been travelling from Tenby West wales once a year for 11 years, firstly staying in the Alton Towers hotel , now splashlandings as the older girls can go to the water park on their own . It is much more expensive this year and the opening times of the water park are less , closing at 5:00 pm which is much too early for a water park! Soft drinks are very expensive, so take plenty of snacks and soft drinks with you . The food at the hotel is very good . Breakfast is included and is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day trip and would like to thank Olivia again and tell Mick who is usually by the doors at the Alton Towers hotel that we missed him ! First time in 12 years .

Something for all the family to enjoy at the water park. - We stayed 3 days at the Alton Towers Hotel, on the last morning we spent a couple of hours at the water park all 18 of us ages ranged from 8 to 70 years young and there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Mediocre - Took my 11 year old son and he was amused but lost interest after an hour. I would say, More for kids between 3-7 years old. Staff wasn’t very friendly. But perfect temp on water.

Just a so-so day - Helpful staff.
Place was too small to spend more than an hour. It felt like it wasn't worth the price we paid. I guess if the children are under 5 years old, they can be entertained for a bit longer.

Overcrowded and overpriced - Just your typical British entertainment, shooting fish in a barrel. Once you have gotten past the admission gate, be prepared to be robbed blind. Somewhere between £10 to £12 for a plain hot dog. £3.50 for a drink from a vending machine. Capitalism at its finest.
The staff were all very nice and location itself was ok. I was expecting a somewhat larger venue with lots of high slides but that wasn't the case. Long queues for the fast slides and this was during school term so would hate to see the school holidays. Long queues to get a tube.
My children enjoyed it so that is the important thing. Between the costs of that and night at a hotel, next time I will take them abroad for the weekend.

Stressful - Swimming was a nightmare unorganised chaotic and stressful ,couldn’t find my booking anywhere had to scroll through my screen shots to prove I had booked it wasn’t aloud a locker token as it was the school holidays but then another staff member handed another person one in-front of me 2 minutes later very awkward moment and felt not nice to be treated different

Didn’t get to go. Mix up... - Didn’t get to go. Mix up with dates I was in spain when I booked it. Didn’t realise until I was asked for a review. Was taking grandkids and booked hotel. Hope Viator can do something. Gutted. But it is a great day out for people who are going
