The event kicks off with a brief tutorial on the science behind the northern lights, aimed at providing you a grasp of how they happen and assessing the probabilities for the night. It’s impossible to predict our destination upfront as it relies on the weather and aurora forecast, but we’ll utilize our local insight to identify the most favorable spots to relish the Northern Lights pirouetting in the nighttime sky.
Several myths and lore have sprouted through the ages due to the enigma cloaked around these lights. Various monikers have been attributed to the lights, one among them being ‘Guovssahas’, a term coined by the Sami community meaning ‘the light that can be heard’.
