- Alta - Upon meeting at our Adventure Store in the Alta city center you will receive a briefing about todays trip and the equipment you will need on the boat (thermal suit, boots, gloves & googles).
- Altafjord - We will take a scenic drive along Altafjord and Langfjord, before we get to our harbor located in Baddern. This will take approximately 1.5 hours in each direction.

Badderfjord - The boat trip will start from our harbor in Baddern. Once at the harbor we will start our trip out on the fjord. Your captain will search for the whales and try to get you as close as possible without disturbing them. How far we go out will depends on where the whales are located.
After returning to the harbor we will serve you a warm lunch before returning to Alta. - Altafjord - We will take the scenic drive back to Alta. This will take approximately 1.5 hours.

During the winter season, the fjords of northern Norway, abundant in herring, attract whales in search of food. This gives one a rare chance to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, amidst the stunning backdrop of the fjords.
You would have the privilege to bask under the spellbinding winter skies, flanked by majestic mountains and diverse marine life of the fjords.
On boarding the boat, we’ll set off into the fjords in pursuit of humpback whales and Orcas. We would maintain a respectful distance and switch off our boat motors to prevent unwanted disruption to the sea creatures. These whales are as intrigued about us as we are about them, therefore, chances are they might swim close to our boat.
Kindly note, while we do our utmost, we cannot ensure that we’ll sight whales during every tour. The commencement and conclusion of the season can be modified based on the migratory patterns of whales.
The to-and-fro journey to the harbour takes about 1.5 hours each and is accounted for in the total tour duration. The estimated boat duration is roughly 3.5 hours.
