In this small-group full day tour, you will visit traditional Christmas markets in Colmar and in other Alsace villages.
Strasbourg hosted in 1570 the very first edition of one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe and has continued, since then, the tradition of Alsatian Christmas. However, Colmar and other Alsatian villages have also developed their own warm and generous Christmas Markets tradition, with their little wooden huts, Christmas lights and festivities. Experience the true Christmas spirit and open all your senses to delicious fragrances, delightful craft goods and lights along your way. Those markets will amaze you with their surprising and mouthwatering discoveries.

Fairytale villages - We were very pleased with our small group tour to Colmar and Riquewihr. We did walk a lot but the Christmas markets were charming. The tour left at 9am and returned at 4pm.

Great experience - I had a great time! We went to Riquewihr and Colmar. I LOVED Riquewihr. The town was so cute and they had one merchant selling “Peter’s best” Glühwein/Vin Chaud. It was incredible! Colmar was also super cute!

Must do. Colmar is fantastic, and Oberine was small, but very cute. Take the tour! - Had a great day visiting the Krindelmarkets in Colmar and Oberine. Funs stuff to look at, hot wine and apple cider, roasted chestnuts, and a great guide with Jerome.
Would recommend taking the trip. The rain wasn’t too disruptive, and still had a great time.

Entertaining and informative - Charming and amusing! Our tour was fantastic and our guide very informative.

Lovely towns, Christmas markets just ok - Miriam was a very pleasant tour guide. She gave us lots of great information as we traveled from place to place, and she was a safe driver.
Colmar and Riquewihr were soooo crowded. And the Christmas markets in both area were just the same stuff sold everywhere. For a Christmas market tour, it would be better to go to places with more authentic Christmas markets.
But, both towns were cute and we enjoyed just walking around in town and not going to the markets.
We liked the fact that the tour was done during driving time and then we were just on our own in town. Others may not like that though so should pick their tour carefully if they want a tour guide with them at all times.

Aude is a great guide - Aude was an excellent guide! She is warm, knowledgeable and fun to be with. The reason for only 4 stars is independent of our guide — who was great!
We were a group of 6 tourists for whom I’m thankful that the additional 2 did not make the tour, allowing for more comfortable seating for us remaining. I would have rated the tour a 2 star had all 8 of us been present.

Great tour wish could have heard the driver - Tour was very good- guide was on time and very knowledgeable. However it was very difficult to hear him if you were not setting beside in the front seat- we missed some of the history and information he was providing
