A very nice experience not far from the city - I did a solo tour after my business trip in Almaty. My guide, Nur-sultan greeted me at my hotel. He drove me to the sight. He showed me around the place. He is very good company for solo-female traveler. He is very patient and flexible. He has very good background of the places and the history of Kazakstan. You will not disappoint.

Excellent trip - If you only have a short time in Almaty and want to have a memorable tour, make sure to visit Medeu. And I hope you'll be with Nursultan. Not only did he arrive just on time for the pick-up, but he also kindly explained much about Almaty throughout out visit to Medeu. He speaks English very well. He recommended a few places for us to look around in city after visiting Medeu and drove us to lunch. He’s a really great guide. I definitely recommend him :)
