Beautiful sites outside of Almaty with a fantastic tour group. - This was a fantastic tour hosted by Madina and her trainee, Gulzada. Be prepared for a long day though, as it starts around 6am and you're back in Almaty by 10pm. We had some difficult tourists on our group, but Madina did an outstanding job making sure we were still able to visit all the sites on the tour, and still have a great experience. I did the Big Lake Almaty tour with the same tour group before, and had a wonderful time. If you're looking to get outside of Almaty, this is definitely the tour to go on. Many locals have not seen the gorgeous lakes and canyons you'll see on this tour. My favorite site was horseback riding to Kaindy Lake (i.e., the sunken forest). Truly an otherwordly experience. The tour bus was comfortable and there are plenty of stops along the way for bathroom breaks or snacks/drinks.

16 hours packed trip with rich lifetime experience - Charyn Canyon is so majestic! The lakes are beautiful also, but the logistic to go there (especially Lake Kaindy) really required patience and strength. Thankfully our guide Madina is really reliable.

Don't miss it! - I recommend this trip as you can enjoy beautiful scenery! The travel started 6:00 am and ended about 11:00 pm. It is a little bit tough but it is worth it! I was offered various Kazakhstan foods as lunch and I could enjoy noodle, flov, traditional bread and some desserts. Though lunch time was about 3:30 pm when was a little late for me, so you should prepare enough snacks. Guide(unfortunately I can't remeber his name but the travel was on 3th, May) is so much kind and takes many pictures for people so we can take a good memory in Kazakhstan. In addition, I can communicate with him through English very easily. I hope all of you can enjoy beautiful landscape in Kazakhstan through this program!

Wonderfully planned - It was an amazing experience.. well planned packed agenda covering so many places which is almost impossible to cover when you travel on your own. I wasn’t very sure of what I was registering for but it was an adventurous trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice Professional Tour. - Very well organized and professional. Our guide (Aika) was a true gem. She was very well spoken and guided us nicely. Given the long distance and I'm sure it was tiring, she always put a smile and always ready whenever we needed help. She helped us climbed the canyon which was really scary (and it's optional btw). And the lunch was really a pleasant experience. Definitely would recommend it for anyone going to Almaty.

Very good - The young guide Aika at the top. the landscapes are splendid. I highly recommend. You can book without any problem.

An amazing tour in the wonderland - Our experiences was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the trip thoroughly. The tour guide assisted us to bond with the group and during hard canyon climbs in addition to normal guiding activities

Adventure-packed day - would recommend - We had a great time on the one-day tour. The sights at all 3 destinations were amazing and we would recommend anyone who visits Central Asia to make some time for these natural beauties. Pristine. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was very convenient. The guide made great efforts to ensure everything was smooth - water, toilet breaks, traditional lunch, and background stories to all of the sights. One point to note was that on our way back, it was pretty late and dark (hardly any street lighting in these areas) and we felt the driver was over-speeding. We voiced our concerns to the tour guide and he immediately informed the driver to take caution and the speed was slowed down. (he also mentioned that drivers are typically fast compared to what we are used to.) Overall, we had a great time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone who visits Almaty. Thanks to Tim and the team for a great tour!

Great nature experience in short time, 👍 - An absolutely thrilling day! Our cameras were brimming with fantastic photos and videos. Kaindy Lake lived up to all the hype in the Almaty region brochures. The journey there was an adventure in its own right. This tour is a must-do it's the perfect way to experience the top 3 destinations in a single day, and they pull it off in such a comfortable manner. Special thanks to our tour guide Tim for making the experience even more enjoyable with his knowledge and enthusiasm!

Great Experience - Would recommend this tour as a great way to see 2 lakes and 2 canyons. Be aware that the tour starts at 0600 and finishes around 2230/2300 so make sure to bring plenty of snacks! Lunch was served around 1500 but we made a stop at a service station in morning as well as shops being at each location we stopped at. The journey up to Kaindy lake was a personal highlight of the trip. For our tour guides Gulzada‘s first tour she was good.
