you do not visit the pink lake - The cost of the excursion was 59€, and the day is worth half of the money spent. The purchase of the excursion does not correspond to the title of the purchase, as "the pink lake" is 45 minutes from the port of Santa Pola and you do not visit, what you visit are "the salt pans of Santa Pola" with a museum, where salt is produced. The excursion package does not correspond to reality, we had a bad experience. Our day began with the departure of the bus with the Guide from Alicante, while it says “to torrevieja pink lake” you will actually visit the salt pans of Santa Pola and the lake you will not even see the shadow. Once completed the visit to the salt pans that will be only 25 minutes and not 2 hours as it says, we went to the port of Santa Pola to take the ferry to Tabarca, The ferry of their choice sailed at our schedule without letting people board and we stayed under the sun waiting for the next very bitter and sweaty for 30 minutes waiting for the next. The reason why we preferred this excursion to the others was because there was a visit to the pink lake included in the price, but apparently this title was only put on to attract people to buy the excursion, since you can not even see the shadow of the lake. The visit to the island is not worth it, it is very crowded, the beach sold out, the water is very hot and not clear, however there are stones that make everything more uncomfortable. In short, the experience is not worth the money spent, I do not recommend this excursion, rather I would spend this money to do something else.
